March 11, 201214 yr The song reminds me of Airplanes, though I can see comparisons to Never Leave You in that it isn't overly dancy! I've always grouped Never Leave You in the same group as Coming Home, Live Your Life, No Love, 4 Minutes, Invincible, etc. to be honest.
March 11, 201214 yr Author They can certainly sing live - not bad. Plus this has a bit of attitude - take note Little Mix.
March 11, 201214 yr Fully deserved Top 5 hit for StooShe, I really want to hear more from them! :cheer: (Still think it charted 3 or 4 places too low though. :P) I doubt it'll plummet, they seem to have a bit of support from radio.
March 11, 201214 yr Who was the last girl band to open their career with a top 5 hit? 'Love Me' is pretty good. Stooshe are the first Sound of 2012 act to get a biggish hit. Hopefully '212' will follow shortly. I think it was the Spice Girls And cough... ;)
March 11, 201214 yr this is the first time I'm hearing this, parts of it are annoying, but these girls do seem like they have potential
March 11, 201214 yr Author I think it was the Spice Girls And cough... ;) All Saints the year after with the #4 hit I Know Where It's At?

March 11, 201214 yr Wonder if Stooshe will manage a long lasting career, it's quite rare to see new girlbands in the top five! I quite like this song but I actually preferred their buzz single better! Great albums top ten overall, although I've not heard Bruce's album and have no intention of doing so. The Lionel Richie album has a collaboration with 1998 Swedish Eurovision entrant Jill Johnson on it which I found quite bizarre!
March 11, 201214 yr Who was the last girl band to open their career with a top 5 hit? Little Mix? :kink:
March 11, 201214 yr I think it was the Spice Girls And cough... ;) forgetting Girls Aloud there?
March 11, 201214 yr I think it was the Spice Girls And cough... ;) Didn't The Pussycat Dolls get to #1 with their 1st single? Or do they not count as a "band" or something?

March 11, 201214 yr forgetting Girls Aloud there? And The 411, Honeyz, Thunderbugs and god knows how many others...
March 11, 201214 yr Little Mix? :kink: Oh yes, of course - they've slipped my memory already  I wonder if they'll actually be successful? I'm not so sure to be honest. 'Wild Ones' is having an incredibly sturdy chart run so far.
March 11, 201214 yr I don't get the love for Stooshe. The track sounds awful. They also came from the Brits school and I hardly have time for anyone from there.
March 11, 201214 yr Little Mix? :kink: Exactly what I was thinking. Shocked that two posters not only forgot Little Mix, but also Girls Aloud.
