Adele and Lady Gaga used to have such achievements going - but the latter in particular doesn't seem to be as popular as 2009/2010, while Rihanna seems to just be getting bigger and bigger (music wise).

I think Rihanna is successful every era is because she just seems to continually re-invent herself (both her image and her music to some degree) which is always enough to keep the public interested without being in the media every week (unlike Gaga who I am a fan of as well). Also, she's just got a nice listenable voice on her singles. :lol: (Minus You Da One) -_- But either way, that's a massive achievement to only be out of the charts for three weeks in the past few years. But wasn't she also absent from the top 40 between Te Amo and Only Girl (seeing as Hard flopped) though she could have been on a feature single though.

Rihanna's career goes up and down I think. She's not as popular at the moment as she was in 2007, 2008 or 2010 I think. There guys that live on the floor beneath me play International Love on FULL BLAST a couple of times a day. :drama: I can't cope any more. :(

I think it's easier just to say that we haven't had a week without Rihanna in the top 75 since Run This Town. And it is awesome.
