March 30, 201312 yr Katie was absolutely terrible :mellow: How on earth Jessie turned round I'll never know! I only really liked Leanne tonight... Matt is totally this year's Jaz, overrated to the max.
March 30, 201312 yr Author Bit of a weak start, the only ones that stood out was Leanne and Matt, Katie was alright but with the right coaching she could do better she did come across like Paloma Faith. I did think Kavana passed his sell by date.
March 30, 201312 yr I only had chance to see the very first audition before I left the house but that Welsh lad who sang 'Never Tear Us Apart'...I mean, really? Jessie J was all over him but I saw 0% potential in him. **shrugs** Will be catching up thanks to Sky+ ( :wub: ) and will watch it tomorrow. I was hoping it'd get better but the comments here suggest it wasn't much cop considering it was on for 90 minutes. :(
March 31, 201312 yr It wasn't THAT bad. Like last year though, more contestants weren't as good as the judges made them out to be, although they were still good. My favourites were the blonde haired girl and the guy who was shown as the typical chav. I actually liked the last guy too. I don't think anyone was particularly bad tonight, although the woman who sang 'Angel' could do with some help on her nerves, otherwise she could have been more decent. The gothic girl was my least favourite (although I can see why Jessie turned around for her - there's definite room for her to improve and I think she could be good if someone taught her how to control her vocals properly).

Ash was awful, I don't know why all four coaches turned around for him :wacko: Louis as a person was a bit of a prick, but I did grin when he told the coaches that he'd written his own musical and performed again. Katie was awful, and I've no idea why Jesie turned for her. Hopefully next week's standard is MUCH better.
March 31, 201312 yr 6.24m for this last night. Peaked with just over 8m in the last 20 minutes. I caught some of it. Was exactly the same as last year, ie. cringeworthy.
March 31, 201312 yr Could've been a lot worse for them figures wise! But obviously, it's only down from here. Last night was alright/decent, kept me watching, and I will be continue to watch next week, so it hasn't driven me away. It just didn't have anyone who made me go 'wow'. The gothic girl is very much this years Ruth-Anne, I'm sure, Jessie convinced that she can improve a pitchy person, and probably failing. My favourite was actually the last guy, I think he was slightly overrated by the judges, but not to the extent of Jaz, I just thought he was a very good vocallist with genuine passion, and I don't think we should let how much the panel rave about someone affect how good they are.

The girl who sang Feeling Good was decent. She took a very well known song and did something a bit different with it.

April 6, 201312 yr Author 23 mins later she chose Tom :lol: Anyhow hardly anyone ticked the boxes this week, I did like Alex Buchanan and the duo though. The 16th year old boy looked a bit like Bre :D And Kym Mazelle was a bit out of her depth with a bad song.
