July 25, 201214 yr I'm assuming that she is the artist who had a top 10 hit as a duo with 'Pepper & Piano' thanks to Must Be The Music. She went solo a few months ago so I assume this came from it. Apparently Pepper is somebody signed to his label and it's a bloke so i'm guessing it isn't the girl :P

July 25, 201214 yr Ooh they've added Little Mix, I'm mildly surprised at that. But please for sure, although I wonder how high it will get. Wouldn't be overly surprised if it missed the A-list, still. And no Amelia? :( Not much else of interest. Lana and Marina gone :( Both expected I guess but still. July 26, 201214 yr Radio 1 playlisted SO many songs 15 years ago. I don't know what music fan would have been annoyed with their genres being snubbed at the time! I know i never thought paul weller would have been in the playlist in 1997!! It also seems that back in 97 oa/os was fading but it was still there which is why there are new entries all over the playlist and not just in the clist like now!! Great to see the new bloc party tune on the list - and is dizzee oa/os? Also great to see simple plan on the playlist - it was no40 on the video airplay chart and was wondering what the craic is!! July 26, 201214 yr I dont think they really need the support of the playlist on radio 1 but now they are gauranteed no1, they are basically celebreties more than musicans to the media!!
July 26, 201214 yr Simple Plan still exist? And they've done a song with Sean Paul? And it's actually getting Radio 1 support? What. They playlisted the lead single from Simple Plan's last album too so it's not that surprising. What is surprising though is Aiden Grimshaw moving up to the B-list, and that Radio 1 are still supporting him after his last single was a relative flop!

July 26, 201214 yr Glad to see Little Mix added and I hope it doesn't fall with the same fate of Joe McElderry and Matt Cardle and just stay on the C list. Also hope to see Aiden move up to the A-list this time even if Is This Love is a better track. Sad to see Marina go but I guess it was expected as unfortunately Power and Control hasn't really done anything. Let's hope she puts all her effort into making How to be a Heartbreaker a MASSIVE hit!
