GWON Pink :D Blow Me (One Last Kiss) is hardly her best, but to climb faster than Little Mix and Cheryl Cole (and Rita Ora iirc?) is amazing, I just hope she can hold off Hall Of Fame and that awful Ne-Yo 'song' because she really deserves a #1!

Where are the new EPs in the albums chart please?

I can't check on my phone

The three main releases don't have EP's but Owl City (8) and Smiler (10)

What a nice sight to see when I get up <3 go P!nk.

For all your P!nk needs and news, please do drop into her forum here :kink:

Looks like Ne-Yo might not be a contender after all. I'm slightly suprised by Pink though. I thought she would not reach the top, but she has.
Yay! Happy for P!nk, I knew it would do well :)
I know you weren't. I get your point entirely and thats why i agree. I respect Pink much more for staying well clear of the music trend currently.

I read this interview a while ago of her saying she hates it and doesn't want to get involved with it. Which is nice. I wish people like Ne-Yo had the same attitude as her lol.

Flo Rida up to #66!! As far as I know, it's not playlisted by Capital or Radio 1 yet. Does it have a music video?

I suspect Pink has climbed to no. 1 faster because she's had to sell less downloads to get there. Ie; I don't think Little Mix would've cleared 100k this week, and most held back singles crash and burn in the second week which makes it easier for a new single to take advantage of another tracks massive decrease in sales.

I just hope we're not going to have a dreadful run of one week wonders that lasts 16 weeks.

On a brighter note, at least it's Pink at #1 rather than Ne-Yo. :D

1. Wherever You Are - Military Wives, Gareth Malone & London Metropolitan Orchestra

R.I.P. is #1 :|

WOW she's #1

How We Do (Party) #1!!!

 #1 Little Mix - Wings!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pink  1 :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Between 2011-2012 these are the fastest songs to get to itunes #1

1. Military Wives - Wherever You Are: 18th December 2011, 01:43 AM

2. Pink - Blow Me (One Last Kiss): 2nd September 2012, 11:19 AM

3. Cheryl - Call My Name: 10th June 2012, 11:50 AM

4. Little Mix - Wings: 26th August 2012, 11:59 AM

5. Rita Ora - How We Do (Party): 12 August 2012, 12:10 PM

6. Rita Ora ft Tinie Tempah - R.I.P: 6th May 2012, 01:21 PM

The reason for Ne-yo's slow climb is that it wasn't available to pre-order, unlike its two main competitors. I think its too early to rule him out completely.

That Pink song is dreadfully generic :(

The last thing she did that I loved was Who Knew.

As I said earlier, it's because Pink doesn't have an EP so all the sales are going directly towards the iTunes single chart.

It is rather terrible isn't it. :/

The last things I liked from her were U + Ur Hand and Please Don't Leave Me, the latter in particular is quite underrated I feel.

...and Ne-Yo's new single isn't dreadfully generic? :D

I'm actually impressed that Pink has managed to get to #1. I never thought 'Blow Me (One Last Kiss)' would get there either but it reminds me of when 'Just Like A Pill' got to no. 1 in 2001 when all the signs suggested Busted would be no. 1 with the truly abysmal 'What I Go To School For'.

It might be "generic" (this word is overused on Buzzjack :P ) but it's a very good result as far as I'm concerned.

P!nk is only so high due to pre-orders (although I'm shocked she's climbed so fast with such an average, song.) and I think she's just playing the 'All Fired Up' role to Ne-Yo's 'All About Tonight'. Still pretty confident Ne-Yo will go to number 1. (Although I'd prefer a second week Little Mix - but Ne-Yo is my favourite of the new releases)
