That should read "new entry at #397" :P  Still can't believe No Doubt managed to get on the show, but it is amazing how they still managed to flop terribly even with a major performance. Looks like nothing will ever save their career (Note to Gwen: Get back to your solo career!)

Has anyone performed on the show and flopped so badly before? I remember everyone hailing Mariah's 'I Want To Know What Love Is' a huge flop when it only entered at #19 after her performance in 2009 but that's a total smash compared to No Doubt

Most of those people had boosts to their albums though, despite the singles doing badly. (Well, all but Janet IIRC).

How did the Jamiroquai song do after his performance?
Apparently Kylie is performing Cant Get you out of my Head
#75 was a massive flop for Xtina considering how much publicity she got from the ~ controversial ~ performance. Rihanna got just as much for her controversial performance and her single sold 100k in a week!

Hopefully as amazingly as when she did the Italian version of X-factor.

Pretty sure from the way her rehersal photo was the same eletronic background as when she sang Cant Get You Out Of My Head in Italy, so looks like that is the chosen one..... Would love On a Night Like This also..... :0

She is defo trying to sell the album rather than singles... saying that CGYOOMH could still easily chart top 100

Kylie was kind of flat and boring. CGYOOMH is one of the weaker re-workings on the album.

are you joking? loved it! Great performance!!

Abbey Road 19!!!!! :cheer: :cheer:

Christina doing Express was to promote the film Burlesque, not the song.

Hence why Dermot asked her "whens the film out?" Rather than "whens the single out?".

:)

And Burlesque went on to gross over $90million at the box office. So all ended well.

It did OK worldwide but box office in the UK was quite mediocre and the X Factor appearance was to promote the movie in the UK

Kylie wastes another live performance again by singing a pointless reworking of an 11 year old mega-hit... i mean what was she thinking?!! couldn't she do Flower or another new recording??!!

What new recording is there that she could do apart from Flower? :P

Thank God you don't work for Kylie then.

She went to promote the album, she did that. Who cares what she actually sang?

Exactly! The Abey Road Sessions has jumped from about number 50 odd on itunes to number 17 so its kinda worked.

er.... i was being sarcastic... ;)

i'm a Kylie mega-fan, actually the biggest in the world, i've travelled at least 8 times in my lifetime to watch her live in other countries and at least spent a fortune on that and on her cd's and tickets.... so i know what i'm talking about ^_^

But, as a mega-fan, i don't want her to be reduced to that one song, she has one of the biggest back catalogues in the music indsuty ever, then why should she limit herself to that one song only while she could've performed a zillion others????
