Anyway, very nice to see The Killers only down to #23! :D Hopefully can climb back above P!nk this week. Holding in the top 20 is a bit too much to ask for, but I would be happy with anywhere between #21-#24 for them this week. Really hope the XF rumours about them are true. They could do with the boost for this album.

Nope, from 4 weeks ago.

He read the count down from 4 weeks ago when Leona entered the top 10 and then changed the no1 to Candy lol - was an embarressing few minutes - i noticed when Fun where still near the top 20 lol!!

At least we had the correct mid chart, problem solved.

If Jonathan and Charotte sold around 11,000 last week to get to no 15, and their sales have risen 440%, that would put them on around 53k this week assuming their sales remain steady. That surely can't be right can it? I assume that the 440% is compared to Wed last week - was there something during the end of last week thta would have boosted their sales and skewed the comparison?

I think that's right yeah. It's pretty pointless unless you knew the sales from last Wednesday.

Very sad that No Doubt's X Factor appearance has had zero effect on their album, guess it was just rather unfortunate timing with what happened with the whole 'Looking Hot' video controversy. Pleased that Robbie's doing so well though and will probably be number 1 again and good to see JLS doing better with 'Evolution' than I expected - hopefully that can stay top 3 for Sunday!

I'm so glad that The Wanted are nowhere near #1, woohoo. They seem like really smug and ungrateful so and so's. Plus they keep attacking other artists.

Also happy to see JLS and Military Wives underperforming, phew.

Glad for Robbie.

But if the sales pattern is consistent throughout the week, it is possible to get a reasonable estimate for the entire week compared to prior week, unless something has skewed the estimate after the initial midweeks were released last week.

I hope that misha b song falls in a similar fashion to 'home run'. unfortunately it'll probably still end up top 10 at the end of the week though. :( shame, as it'd be a pretty good song if it were by someone else.
Very disappointed with Kylies position, i hope it remains top 10. Matt Cardle is higher than i expected.

There was a TV special last Friday on ITV1 around 9pm

More likely theory: no one cares about No Doubt any more. Video controversy would, if anything, increase sales for them. They were a ridiculous choice for an X Factor performance, so many others that would have been better choices, even Misha B would be better.

The last-minute boost for 'Together' last week was the documentary mentioned in the report :P

Think they had a TV special last Friday? so sales prior to that point would have been fairly minimal i imagine :D

Aaah that explains it - anybody know where they were in the first set of midweeks last week? I'm clutching at straws to try and predict Kylie's sales this week!

Whether any others would be better in terms of vocals is another story. :P

Just realised Leona Lewis is not top 40 after just 2 weeks, oopsy daisy.

Yes, most would. I love Gwen but her vocals on Sunday night were SHOCKING.

You think? I thought they were brilliant. Certainly blew Rita Ora out of the water.

For me, hardly. The No Doubt song is terrible. Rita's performance overall was better imo.

This will be its 4th week.

3-10-27- out the top 40 :)
