I tried to stray away from the obvious egos. Estelle, Kanye, Chris Martin etc.. to me they don't seem to get away with it quite as easily as the likes of The Wanted or JLS.

Estelle :puke: There's a name that should be forgotten.

lol. American Boy was a match made in heaven really! It was one of my favourite songs of 2008. Beyonce putting Kanye on the Ego remix was also quite genius, I have to say.

 28. A Thousand Years - Christina Perri

 40. A Thousand Years, Pt. 2 (feat. Steve Kazee) - Christina Perri

Could this go top 20?

EDIT: In fact, that was an old feed, it's now  to #25 and #36!

Ahhh! Brilliant. Is part 2 a version they're playing on the second installment of the final 'Twilight' film? I need to listen to it tbh! Would be brilliant for this to stick around this time and be a genuine hit. (Although it seemed to be a very strong trickle seller this past year or so - regularly saw it within the top 150 on iTunes - received boosts when it was made 59p etc..)

 :w00t: :cheer: WOO!

They better combine them for the official chart. Combined they are at #16ish on itunes. As long as the song (or one, if they are counted seperate) goes top 30 I will be very happy!

Part 2 is just as beautiful as part 1  This MUST go top 20 eventually!
Mariah  61. Where was she this time last year?

16th November 2011 (Wednesday):

116. Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas Is You

144. Shakin' Stevens - Merry Christmas Everyone

283. The Pogues & Kirsty MacColl - Fairytale Of New York

18th November 2011 (Friday):

105. Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas Is You

141. Shakin' Stevens - Merry Christmas Everyone

179. The Pogues & Kirsty MacColl - Fairytale Of New York (also #219)

285. Band Aid - Do They Know It's Christmas?

293. Michael Bublé - It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

294. Michael Bublé - Santa Claus Is Coming To Town

I can only dream that a campaign is started for Wizzard to get number 1. One of my all time faves. It keeps showing up each year yes but not near the top section of the charts unlike Mariah & The Pogues.

 116. Fairytale of New York - The Pogues & Kirsty MacColl

 243. Fairytale of New York (feat. Kirsty MacColl) - The Pogues

 1413. Fairytale of New York (Featuring Kirsty MacColl) - The Pogues featuring Kirsty MacColl

Top version nearly top 100 :D

Mariah only #66 for me but may be a slightly old feed.

EDIT: Yup, I think it was an old feed - Mariah is now #63 but The Pogues  103, 214, 1384 :cheer:

Totally agreed  I hope Christina Perri sees some nice success with her next album. Her debut was really nice and "A Thousand Years" is beautiful!

Also, if you don't mind me asking, who is that in your avatar? It's been bugging me for quite some time (that I don't know who it is  )

FINALLY! It's so refreshing to see someone (who is Pensmith) actually point out what I want to say about Olly. He gets far too much hate and I really don't see him with that big an ego. The Wanted boys and JLS have far bigger egos, but they never get pulled up on it. It's one thing to say you find someone "annoying", but it's a completely different thing to say he has an "ego". He's just very proud of what he has achieved to date (so he should be - his career seems to be getting stronger and stronger, whereas it's the other way around for most other artists).

He's very self deprecating on twitter and he's always happy to be the butt of the joke on X Factor, I'm at a loss when I see people talking about his ego. They must be idiots.

Exactly! He seems a genuine normal (well, almost normal, no normal guy is that sexy ;)) guy to me but he gets so much attention over his so called massive ego when as Jonjo said there are MUCH worse offenders (The Wanted are one of the worst for me I agree).

I think some people on here are just quite judgemental or very dramatic (or a bit of both). I constantly see random comments about pop stars like "What a horrible person", "He has a vile personality", "She has a horrible attitude to life", etc. which seem to come completely out of the blue, and I have no idea why. Seems a bit uncalled for to me.

But you'd be surprised at the people out there that will watch TV, see a celebrity rolling their eyes or something, then decide that they must be a horrible person.

But, for what it's worth, Olly seems very liked from what I've experienced (I'm basing this off the thousands of people I've come across in the real world, rather than the 20 regular posters on Buzzjack ).

Madonna did that like 20 times on Graham Norton in January!
