November 14, 201213 yr Anyhow, woo at 'Ho Hey' climbing to the top 10 and Ed being top 20 (#16 and #64 on iTunes so hopefully he can climb further through the week?) Was hoping Example would be high top 30 today despite not being that high on iTunes, as some new entries tend to do, at least he should be comfortably top 40 anyway. Still a huge underperformance even by my low expectations, I dread to see how poorly his album does next week :(Â Shocked to see Rod Stewart's extremely creepy sounding Christmas album ahead of The Rolling Stones, looks like becoming his first top 2 album since 1998! Surprised but quite glad to see Green Day as high as #4 too, I don't particularly care for this whole three-album project but I'd still hate to see them flopping. Yay for Lana and Ed both being back in the top 10 and Xtina looking likely to miss the top 20 :DÂ '21' still holding out in the top 40, currently a non-mover at #36. She's been on thin ice the last couple of weeks, really hope she can hold out until at least the 100 week mark.
November 14, 201213 yr lol He definitely shouldnt be worried, but i'm sure he's disapointed. You can make lots of money from selling albums - especially if write all the songs on the album too. It's a shame too see him not doing well, #17 first week, dread to think where it is in it's second week :o He was originally a song writer anyway. He wrote Let Me Love You by Mario, and because it was such a massive hit, he got his own record deal to release his own solo album. His albums won't sell as well now as they did before, for the simple reason that his songs are too generic now. Because of You, Mad, So Sick, etc. sell albums better than Beautiful Monster and Let Me Love You. He needs to go back to his better songs to sell more albums again imo.
November 14, 201213 yr I wonder what went wrong. Lack of promotion, the song being very weak and Say Nothing dropping fast from the charts is all I can think of. Having said that it is surprising that Example's done a Let It Go this early into his career (having only been popular since 2010 whereas Alex has been in the public eye since XF 2008)
November 14, 201213 yr I think Example can quite easily get another top 20 hit in the future, whilst Alexandra will find it a lot more difficult.
November 14, 201213 yr I'd be happy if Sunday ended like this: 1. Little Mix 2. One Direction 3. Bruno Mars. But i'd be happier if it was   41. Bruno Mars.
November 14, 201213 yr I'd be happy if Sunday ended like this: 1. Little Mix 2. One Direction 3. Bruno Mars. That would be amazing :w00t: please let it happen! 2. Little Mix 3. One Direction 4. Labrinth Whoa 3 SYCO acts in the Top 5 :o Simon must be one happy man right now  Edited November 14, 201213 yr by øbscure
November 14, 201213 yr Ne-Yo at number 40? that's absolutely terrible! He's never been a strong album seller ('Year of the Gentleman' was obviously huge, but artists usually have one era that's much bigger than their others). It's not a great album, but it's not too bad either. On the plus side. The Killers above P!nk :kink: etc... i'm sure they'll climb up another place or two before Sunday - seems to happen a lot with them. Edit: ecstatic to see Christina Perri lookong very likely to reach a new peak!! :D hoping it can eventually go top 20 officially at some point but highly doubtful.

November 14, 201213 yr Ha, I was waiting for the "Killers above P!nk" comment! :P So was I actually!
November 14, 201213 yr Surprised Flower by Kylie isn't in the top 40. Physical was released this week, 10,000 in total, so if 5000 went to UK homes you would think it would be charting somewhere in the early midweeks
November 14, 201213 yr I want the Double for 1D this week! I want to know how far they are today! it's not fair the losing day stuff :(
November 14, 201213 yr I'm not expecting LM to grab any higher than #2. But with less airplay than "Wings" and everyone one drooling over GA return; I think they are doing fine.
November 14, 201213 yr Christina down to #18 already, I guess it'll probably miss the top 20 on Sunday. Poor woman. :(
November 14, 201213 yr Christina, Steps and The Weeknd are all quite a bit lower than they surely should be? BOOO, strange that Moves Like Jagger reactivated Maroon 5's career in such a big way but did absolutely nothing at all for Christina's quickly sliding fortunes.

BOOO, strange that Moves Like Jagger reactivated Maroon 5's career in such a big way but did absolutely nothing at all for Christina's quickly sliding fortunes. Possibly because Christina did absolutely nothing at all for 'Moves Like Jagger'.
November 14, 201213 yr If this was 2001, Public Service Broadcasting would be new entry at #19 in the singles with "Everest". Instead we get average Ed Sheeran album track that nobody wanted :(
November 14, 201213 yr I'm surprised One Direction are doing so well with their album and no1 in the singles. Would prefer Bruno Mars to be number one. At least he is more credible and not from some awful tv show.
