No drug references this week :o

Not sure why. It's not promoting the drugs, it's doing the complete opposite!

Radio 1 being nursemaids again then.

I see Radio 1's gone for the super clean mix of Bassline Junkie having played the "not as clean" version for the past few weeks. I guess they got a few complaints.

 

Probably the government who complained...remember the BBC is under the wing of the Tories.

 

I have to admit I do like Rita Oral's new single. Shame it wasn't #1

Erm, this has been heavily censored since the last couple of weeks :o

 

Hasn't been censored. Radio was sent 3 versions of this song in January: The explicit version, the clean version (with the drug references still intact, which has been played for the past few weeks) and the "Super Clean Version", which was played this week, with the drug references removed. I'm guessing Radio 1 received a few complaints about playing the "clean" version, so switched over to the cleaner version in their database.

Ok so she just spoiled part of Ben Howard's position.

Yes, you misheard - she was saying Ben Howard performed at the BRITs. She said before the song that The Lumineers performed at the Grammys.

I remember JK and Joel used to spoil the chart. Sometimes at the beginning of the show they'd announce there was a new no.1. But then again, this was usually done the week after McFly were no.1, so I guess they weren't spoiling much.
