Who predicted that Emeli Sande would drop in the singles chart the week she sang (part of it) at the Brits?

Not me. I was completely wrong in thinking it would go no.1 or top 3 at least with the Adele impact performance. She did s minute of ut though so that explains maybe why it didn't do too well.

I don't know much about Ben Howard's music but thank you for winning the Brit and allowing me to watch the Twitter meltdown of all the Olly Murs fans who posted various expletives and angst because they had never heard of him :) I guess they will have now.

 

Hoping JT can make Top 3 with Mirrors.

I'm the opposite. As much as Army of two is growing. Troublemaker is definitely better.

I love "Stay"'s chart run. :D #4 next week?

I wonder whether Stay will re-bound again back up to #4! :D I really hope it can stick around a bit longer though. Quite weird how we're so far ahead of the US with this single - it's only just entered the chart there! (57-3- chart run).

Sorry Jester, I don't have a link, was just basing it on what I was reading on Twitter at the time when Ben won the award. I can tell you "WTF is Ben Howard" and worse was used a lot though :)

I think the plan is that the UK is going to have Pour It Up while we wait for the US to finish with Stay. The US will probably only get to the 3rd single by around May time.
