Good call reducing 'Still Into You'. If only 'Slip' could've been given the usual Stooshe price cut!

Glad to see Paramore 59p so it can hopefully go at least top 20!

Emmelie de Forrest #1265 before Eurovision has even kicked off :yahoo:

:cheer: This could go top 100 tonight similarly to Loreen last year after her semi final!

This fake version of 'I Love It' is already very high! :o

Interesting to see 'Salvation' doing the best of the album tracks seeing as that was given away free a few months ago! I have heard it used on Eastenders (I think) a few times so that may have helped!

It seems weird, but I think having songs available for free is a really good promotional tactic, since it gets the song more well-known. Quite a few big hits were available for free for a period before they became big.

Hopefully Lana's Young and Beautiful will go top 10 once the film is released.

I think Stooshe need some TV promo, I think Slip is Ok but a bit outdated, Black heart was old skool too but far better and I won't comment on Waterfalls.

Good to see Demi in the Top 3, her new album sounds great, so hopefully we see more of her in the charts this year.

Olly now #50 and #106 with 'Dear Darlin'. This will easily be challenging for top 40 this week if this keeps up!

Maybe a third #9 hit for her.

I really wish Beyonce & Andre 3000's 'Back to Black' was available to buy. :( I wonder if 'I Love It' will be released in a week or two. That and 'Blurred Lines' are begging for an early release. I hope they don't clash though. :(

Hopefully they reduce Stooshe to 59p and get it top 10. Young and beautiful deserves to make top 10 it is a beautiful song and her best single choice in a while. Olly Murs is off to a very strong start with dear darling but i think he will end up between number 41 and 45 on Sunday.

Emmelie de Forrest is also off to a very strong start, it will get a huge boost from Eurovision semi final 1 tonight and again on Saturday where i am certain it will be this years Eurovision winner. That said, whether it is Emmelie or someone else i cant see this years winner experiencing the success of Loreen last year.

Just purchased Paramore! [/cheapskate]

Hopefully top 20 this week!

I am surprised Mariah has climbed top 25, i expected her to leave the top 40 this song, or maybe i was wishing it as i dont like the song at all.

Paramore  to #20 now! Perhaps it can become their first top 10 hit?

Also, really surprised/happy at Mariah's success. Especially because there hasn't been any promotion!

Film releases don't usually have that big an effect. The only song I can think of that it did have that sort of effect on is Sean Kingston's 'Party All Night (Sleep All Day)' when The Inbetweeners Movie came out.

True - but in the US (where film releases also don't usually have much effect), the song has risen to no. 7 (no.4 combined) on iTunes post release.
