'#Beautiful' is being played on Heart, Capital and Radio 1 so I'm surprised it's not taking off more. I am actually wondering whether or not it'll go top 20 eventually. It certainly won't be this week. It needs to at least out-peak the dire 'I Want To Know What Love Is'.

I believe Robin Thicke has sold more than last Friday. I know he's not got the Graham Norton performance to boost sales this week, but it is the weekend, it's possible he could do over 200k! :o

Truly ridiculous sales for Robin Thicke. I agree, 200k this week looks like a possibility. Even if not, should come very close it's previous two weeks of sales.

I knew Taylor Swift's album would get swept aside in the Father's Day onslaught :drama: Hopefully it can still re-enter the Top 10 at some point in the next few weeks.

blurred lines is def in with a chance of hitting 200,000 this week its sales are just amazing; mark owen much higher today than i expected i reaaly want this album to have a higher peak than number 33 which is the highest peak for his solo albums so far
Did i read it wrong BL is on 136k so with 48 hours of sales wont he be on course for around 175-180k at best? Still unreal obv!!

He sold 46k on Wednesday and Thursday so should sell more than that on the higher sales days of Friday and Saturday, which puts him above that estimate already. I definitely think he'll at least come close to a third week over 190k and 200k+ isn't out of the question.

Let's hope my internet holds up, its playing me up this morning. Just going to find a back up in case.

Go Fibre-optic Martin. Much faster and more stable. :)

Would be fantastic for 'Blurred Lines' to increase twice in a row with debut sales of 190k! Truly amazing, can't imagine many other songs have managed something like that with such high sales.
Who'da thought Daft Punk's YTD #1 position would be so quickly threatened!

A few weeks ago you'd have been daft to think that.

Now you'd be thicke not to......

 Post of the week.

It'd be brilliant if RT can manage another 190+ sales week and even more incredible if he can surpass 200k. I can't tell whether the sales climate has rapidly improved or it's just coincidence that their have been three monster hits in a row.

Thank you sir :)

I think it's more likely we've just had 3 mega-hits released in a short time, made even more noticable coming after a period of rather sluggish sales at the top end of the chart. Remember Duke Dumont making no.1 with just 58k? I don't think that there has been much of an overall sales increase, no.10 I'm pretty sure sell much the same as it has done the last copule of years or so. In the last few weeks *overall* sales have sometimes been down compared to the same week last year.

I wonder if Bryan Adams record at #1 is in danger of been beaten :heehee: just a thought

Bloody Hell, not that!

Much as I like long running no.1s, that really was too much. Week after week after week, it had become quite ridiculous.

I was pretty relieved when that was finally knocked off no.1.

Bloody hell! Blurred Lines sales are insane! So are we saying it could be at 600K by the end of the week - in 3 weeks of sales?

Also - really happy Agnetha has moved all the way up to #7! I do hope it can climb just a bit more and go top 5!

The selling power of 'Blurred Lines' is extraordinary. Might be already past 750k by its fifth week on the chart if it continues selling at this rate and showing no signs of slowing down yet.

So could Daft Punk and Robin Thicke both end up hitting the million mark whilst the tracks are still inside the UK top 10? It could well happen. :D

Oh no at KT being at 10 already. I can see it flopping in at no.18 or something now.
