'Losing You' finally going top 40 would be wonderful (40p price slash please iTunes!). It deserved far more than it got. Makes you wonder though what the success would be like had it been given a proper, push!

Ho Hey in the top 20 again? Is that ever going to go away? Not that I'm complaining, it's a great song

Still eagerly waiting for a price reduction! (i mean come ON iTunes - clearly 'Ho Hey' is what the public wants, charging £1 for it is WAY too much)

'Ho Hey' is so bland and boring compared to other songs of that ilk (i.e. a fair bit of Imagine Dragons' album for example!). How it's gone on to be as successful as it has been, I really don't know. It's such a non-event, when it's clearly trying to be "anthemic" or whatever. It just falls flat imo.
Woo! :cheer: Go "Ho Hey"! Just as it was starting to decline/fall :kink:
Wonder what else will do well on the back of glasto....I believe the no1 album next week could be the Arctic Monkeys, The Rolling Stones or Mumford & Sons!!

 39. Broken - Jake Bugg

iTunes don't sell songs for 39p though. (it's 79p)

oh right! That extra 20p can help though! :P

Really wouldnt mind a couple of Arctic Monkeys' tracks reclimbing. They used to be absolutely brilliant! Theyre on the right path with their new song though!

Jake Bugg coming for that third top 40! He probably needed the Glasto boost to get this one going.

Foals back at #60 with 'My Number'

I was wondering if the Rolling Stones could do it with a Greatest Hits/Best Of, but the only one I could find on iTunes was that one they released last year, priced at £12.99. If they suddenly cut the price after their Glastonbury set then maybe it has a chance of getting to #1.

If anything goes to #1 off the Glasto effect it'd be 'Babel' I think (not TOO far off #1 already considering how close sales are after #1).
My name isn't Eric!!!1

Solange to steal John Newman's weave.

Tbh I hope Love Me Again somehow misses #1 for a 'meltdown' from the "loons".

I'm not going to explain in detail, since people will be like "lol shut up nobody cares", but after Gangnam Style missed #1, they decided to include Youtube views in the chart. They changed it the same week Harlem Shake blew up, so it got #1 because obviously it had loads of Youtube views from everybody's videos to it

I don't think it's that big a deal. The vast majority of the time when I'm listening to a song on Youtube, it's for the audio, not the video, and I usually have it open on another tab in the background, so it's essentially playing the same role to me as Spotify or something like that. With a few exceptions like Blurred Lines, I think it's mainly just female pop fans that actively watch and care about music videos.

I cared about videos as a teenager. Now, not so much. I think the top 100 sounds a mess now.

No.

Hoping it sneaks a week at no.1 after being played on X Factor :P

I *am* complaining, and I surely can't be the only person that's isck to death of it now?

118. Losing You - Solange

Unlike her sister, she's not famous enough to get away with the 'no surname' thing...

Hey ho could well do a full year in the top 40 now! Great to see Broken in the top40 though I doubt it will be able to stay there without being playlisted anywhere yet its impact date isn't until 5/8!!

Do you confuse her with a different Solange?
