Hopefully this'll be the last we hear of Leah in the top 40. 'I Will Always Love You' could well miss out if it repeats what 'Killing Me Softly' did, since it doesn't have a boost coming up at the end of the week. (Although with how much effort will.i.am seems to be putting in she probably will have more success later - hopefully with something actually decent and not these hideous covers. I liked her version of 'Bang Bang').

I wish the contestants from series 1 had the same treatment as series 2 contestants. I would have loved to have more studio recordings of Bo Bruce, Leanne Mitchell and Tyler James!

 

I do think Leah will probably go the furthest out of this years contestants but I think Andrea will be an album seller.

It was one of the smallest iirc (didn't make the end of year top 40), and 2000 was actually a pretty good year for sales, it was 2003 when they started to drop off a cliff!

Actually, I didn't like the Viva la Vida song (or the album) that much! Wasn't that the song Chris Martin kept bigging up? THought the next album + Paradise were much better. I didn't buy their album at first after Viva La Vida, expecting more of the same, and Mylo Xlyto was their lowest selling until they showcased more of their new sound. I love that album now. Still not sure if I prefer that or Ceremonials, released the week after, but both were a soundtrack to the year I think.

I thought it was 'Bang Bang' for a second. :(
