2012 08 Ho Hey -1-

Didn't realise that Daft Punk were behind Black Skinhead, explains why it's his best record since Love Lockdown #foreals

Hi guys btw :D

Is this the end of 'Ho Hey'? At least it got that second longest consecutive top 40 run ever hooray. It also has the second most cumulative top 40 weeks for any song in the 2010s to date, behind the 40 weeks of 'Someone Like You'. May yet beat that.

Woo at 'Black Skinhead' holding on for a third week.

So far so good, 40-37 have been great :)
Love True Love. A song about a real relationship. Pink is Queen of Everything.

I love Lily Allen tbh.

Although Pink rose to prominence as an R&B singer in the classic '90s LaFace mould, a front displayed on her debut CAN'T TAKE ME HOME, it was when she took control of her own image in 2001 that she truly became an icon. While the Linda Perry (4 Non Blondes) composed hit "Get This Party Started" strayed not all that far from her initial dance-pop path, the remainder of M!SSUNDAZTOOD revealed an artist schooled in the punk tradition. Further recordings wandered down multiple paths, cementing Pink's reputation as a genre-bending pop songstress. - HMV

Ho Hey sounds so fresh still. Because I haven't been listening to the chart for ages. Shame it's coming to an end. :/

Yay True Love getting in there.

Should I edit out Rose Cooper and replace that with Allen? Seems like the single is well and truly being pushed as "featuring Lily Allen".

Pink's first album remains her best material after all these years for me. These recent hits she's been getting do nothing for me :(

How great would it be for the awful Ho Hey to spend its last week Top 40 on the 1 year anniversary of Florence reaching no. 1!!!!! Make it happen !!!!! (Still loving Spectrum  )

Ho Hey still hanging on in there

Listening to True Love for the first time. It's a lot better than Just Give Me A Reason, thankfully. Lily Allen back in the charts tho :yahoo:
