On the album chart:

13. The Vamps - Can We Dance - EP

Out on the 29th of September. It's the V.I.P track on the box today.

Possible future #1?

17. Shane Filan - Everything To Me - EP

Out this Sunday. This better not stop The Thing by Atumpan getting to #1

Not if Two Door Cinema Club have something to say about it :kink:

The Vamps better not get to #1, terrible is not the word. Don't think there's been a worse #1 this year actually.

As for Shane Filan, Westlife barely top 10 with their last single iirc so I doubt he'll do it alone :P

I think Shane Filan could do a Matt and Mel and go top 10, at least on the midweeks but I would rather it missed the top 75!

Oh and Liam, the last Westlife single didn't just miss the top ten...charted at number 32!!!

The Vamps will probably chart similarly to Loveable Rogues, maybe top 10 but if by some miracle it gets to number one it would be one of the worst chart toppers of all time but I doubt it...

Can't see Bastille holding top 40 but I've got my fingers crossed

I don't even remember Westlife having a single after Safe, which got to something like #9 iirc

'Safe' got to #10, their final single was the Gary Barlow written 'Lighthouse' from their Greatest Hits which as James said peaked at just #32. Great way to end your career after 25 straight top 10 hits!

Similar to having a #97 smash hit like Beautiful Cause You Love Me after 22 top 11 hits. :(

Even worse was it had entered at 20 on the midweeks then crashed by Sunday...oops!!!!

It was no surprise it bombed, with very little promo and two quite weak songs to end their career! I mean the chart run for the Children In Need track was awful...

Oh I don't think either song was weak, I loved them both, but the whole campaign seemed very half-arsed. BCYLM didn't even get a proper push...

Can't believe they filmed a video for it etc, and then pulled the release when they could see it was heading for a #72 smash! Tragic end to an epic career!

The Westlife one was no shock they had been in decline for years but can easily see the Westlife fan base getting Shane in the Top 10 next week - And he will rape daytime TV promo too!

 19 - Matt/Mel - Loving You  :yahoo:

Come on and grab those last minute weekend sales!!

Any plans for this to be released?

Could be huge

I get serious Gotye vibes from this, I'd be really surprised if (when it is released) its not a number 1. Probably gonna be a very long wait until that happens though :(

Riptide could be a decent-sized hit (not sure it'll be Gotye-type massive tho). Will probably be months before it gets pushed over here

Shhhh that never happened.

I think if ever Rihanna missed a trick during her A Girl Like Me era, it was not releasing the Rock-Reggae 'Kisses Don't Lie'. :( But then again, it is traditional of Rihanna to leave a standout track unreleased ('Breakin' Dishes', 'Photographs', 'Man Down', 'Cockiness'). :drama:

Replace 'Photographs' () with 'Fire Bomb'.
What Silver said. (But this has all been cleared up now! So I'll move on.)

They're the two best songs on TTT (bar 'We Found Love'). :o But then that isn't exactly difficult when the alternatives are the likes of 'Farewell' and 'We All Want Love'. :kink:
NOOOOO. 'Farewell' & 'We All Want Love' are two of my favourites from the TTT album (the latter got grating but I still like it). :(

That Lumidee song is awesome. I loved all the songs that used the Diwali Riddim (although I have no idea which song did it first, was it Get Busy?).
2Play & Raghav had a couple of hits soon after! 'So Confused' remains a JAM <3

Also  at someone mentioning Wayne Wonder! Such a brilliant, BRILLIANT song. I always associate that with Kevin Lyttle's 'Turn Me On' as I remember them being all over the radio at roughly the same time.

Shhhh that never happened.

Oh believe me, I wish it hadn't happened too... Should've been a smash hit. :( (same for Something New which is easily my favourite Girls Aloud song now)
