August 25, 201313 yr I really hate this Jay Z track, Justin's vocals really grate on me especially that high pitched section. The only Jay Z track I love is Empire State Of Mind, otherwise I could do without him being in the chart!

August 25, 201313 yr It was in the chart such a long time. On the first week you can introduce it (and talk about how it's the judges from The Voice collabbing, etc.), but there's not much you can say about it after that. But it was the first few weeks when they'd just announce and say nothing. Only when it actually looked as if it could get no.1 did they make any fuss. Eurgh I hate this being higher than Loving You. Taste is subjective, I know, but this really is trash.
August 25, 201313 yr Drake #11 :o Gonna be annoying if he peaks there now. Didn't think he'd be any higher than about #14 this week though.
August 25, 201313 yr "Best Song Ever" was inspired by the song by The Who "Baba O'Reilly". The song is sometimes inaccurately titled "Teenage Wasteland", which is a good description of One Direction's fanbase.
August 25, 201313 yr I thing my favourite bit in this song is when one of them (Zayn?) sings the line just before the first chorus. His voice is incredibly croaky. Edited August 25, 201313 yr by SceneofSIXCrimes
August 25, 201313 yr Best Song Ever  Probably better than Live While We're Young for me now, so third overall, behind WMYB and Kiss You.
August 25, 201313 yr Hurrah at the brisk turnover of new entries in the top 10 keeping 'Best Song Ever' out. :D

August 25, 201313 yr Still cannot get enough of this. A brilliant way to lead into the album which will hopefully come close to matching Take Care

August 25, 201313 yr This is probably the first Drake song I've really liked since Take Care, such a fantastic chill-out track. Would be good if it gets top 10 next week but #11 is perfectly respectable.
August 25, 201313 yr #14 for Matt Cardle & Mel C not bad in the end, I just knew it wouldn't stay inside the top 10.
August 25, 201313 yr Don't know if this has yet been mentioned Official Charts @officialcharts 1m #ChartFact: @matt_cardle_uk and @MelanieCmusic were only 3,096 copies off being #Number10 with #LovingYou. Boo! Hiss!
