Lrad and What I Might Do finally happening! Hopefully they get R1 playlisting, especially Lrad - that is the best chance they have of finally getting a top 40 single on their own, and it's their best song to date.

I have a horrible feeling that both MKS and Arcade Fire will just miss out on the top 40 this week.

'Same Love' top 10. (please get top 10 effect) :cheer:

OneRepublic safely in iTunes top 10. :cheer:

Drake top 3. :cheer:

'What I Might Do' finally becoming a chart hit. :cheer:

2. Ellie Goulding - Burn 33.84%

3. Drake - Hold On We're Going Home 33.23%

Considering everyone has been banging on about how great Same Love is for months, I can't see how anyone can be surprised it's top 10. I knew it would be the moment I heard it.
It would always be a slightly risky choice due to some of the prejudice that still surrounds gay people but I'm so so so so pleased it was picked and even more ecstatic that it's finally reached that Top 10. Now it needs THE X FACTOR PROMO to rise it all the way up.

I agree, it's pretty much as far as you can get from a surprise top 10. It was always just a matter of waiting for it to get the support. Never understood why people were making out like it was flopping when it hadn't even started to get any support.

( to #9 now BTW. Can Coldplay somehow get back into the top 10 NOW please?)

 24. Reflektor - Arcade Fire

 80. Bound 2 - Kanye West

9 Macklemore & Ryan Lewis

Same Love (feat. Mary Lambert)

And this is with me not hearin it ONCE on radio! Are they not playing it or something or like only in the am hours?

#Progress.

IF it manages top 10 this week, a chart run of 25-20-9 would look really bizarre. I think it could potentially outpeak 'Can't Hold Us' but I think it being their second #1 is a very big ask. Again, I think it'll just mirror 'Just Give Me A Reason' - a high-selling top 3 hit which keeps missing out on the #1.

Such a funny song!

Thank you Nick Grimshaw for raping this and bringing laughter into my mornings everyday.

My prediction is that Same Love will be in the iTunes top 2 next friday on the 1 year anniversary of Gangnam Style's dramatic rise.
