Looks like Two Door Cinema Club aren't doing the business then, I hope we're not still at the point where only big or uber-hyped bands can get hits. Don Broco to change that in a couple of weeks?

Just a little kworb update so we can see how well The Vamps are doing combined:

1.0000 Jason Derulo ft 2 Chainz - Talk Dirty

0.8941 Katy Perry - Roar

0.8294 OneRepublic - Counting Stars

0.7719 The Vamps - Can We Dance

0.6488 Demi Lovato - Skyscraper

Still no higher than #4 despite having 6 versions top 100.

If only it was the far superior Give Your Heart A Break at #4 :(

 95. Two Door Cinema Club - Changing of the Seasons

^ here they come, only 94 places to go!!! :cheer:

 80. Fuse ODG - Azonto (UK Radio Edit)

^ eeeek @ this slight flop so far

Not particularly rooting for anything this week apart from Chase & Status and The Vamps I guess (Was supposed to see them live at Alton Towers in July but we turned up late and they were the first act so we missed 'em!) - Something Really Bad is DREADFUL though!

Just saw an advert for Skyscraper on Youtube, they are obviously treating this as a 'late' release...

GO ON DEMI!

10. The Vamps - Can We Dance

20. The Vamps - Can We Dance (Tristan's Version)

41. The Vamps - Can We Dance

66. The Vamps - Can We Dance (Connor's Version)

70. The Vamps - Can We Dance (James' Version)

101. The Vamps - Can We Dance (Brad's Demo Version)

233. The Vamps - Can We Dance (Seamus Haji Club Remix)

240. The Vamps - Year 3000

492. The Vamps - MMMBop

511. The Vamps - Teenage Kicks (Live)

Great to see all versions top 100 (poor Brad, but I suppose he has the single, so fair enough). Hopefully 'MMMBop' can climb (top 200? wishful thinking), because that's an excellent cover. They all are, but would be great to see that have extremely minor success.

 44. Austin Mahone - What About Love

:(

What is God's name is this The Vamps mallarky? All these alternate versions make for a pretty embarasing attempt at getting a #1, hoping it fails.

Great to see Chase & Status in the T10 though, with Dizzee likely to join them and Nelly to get T20. Two Door Cinema Club NEED to get T40 and Azealia Banks NEEDS another T100!

Team Katy Perry or Jason Derulo this week then, it seems.

Anyone else bought 'Get Like Me'? It's in horrible quality. :o

4. Demi Lovato - Skyscraper

5. Chase & Status - Count On Me (feat. Moko)

9. The Vamps - Can We Dance

15. Dizzee Rascal - Something Really Bad (feat. will.i.am)

19. Nelly - Get Like Me (feat. Nicki Minaj & Pharrell)

21. The Vamps - Can We Dance (Tristan's Version)

30. Lucy Spraggan - Last Night (Beer Fear)

43. The Vamps - Can We Dance

45. Austin Mahone - What About Love

57. Maxsta - Wanna Go (feat. Little Nikki)

68. The Vamps - Can We Dance (Connor's Version)

74. Fuse ODG - Azonto (UK Radio Edit)

77. The Vamps - Can We Dance (James's Version)

80. JME - Integrity

91. Two Door Cinema Club - Changing of the Seasons

104. The Vamps - Can We Dance (Brad's Demo Version)

243. The Vamps - Can We Dance (Seamus Haji Club Remix)

I'm glad Lucy is doing so well! It's nearly as high as 'Lighthouse' managed and it has had much less promotion.

Was overjoyed to see Chase & Status ahead of "I talk a lot of shit when I'm drinking baby, even though I'm years from legal drinking age and am scared to actually swear in my songs", but seeing as the latter have more versions, that'll probably ahead.

Glad C&S are looking like another hit though, heard it this morning, sounds a bit like Blind Faith, but that's definitely no bad thing.

Demi still gaining very quickly!! :cheer:

Katy Perry is releasing another promo track tomorrow, hopefully that should do well.

Daley's single has also been held back until tomorrow for some reason.

And Sam Smith's EP is out on Friday. It's got 4 tracks with a running time of about 15 minutes so that will be eligible for the singles chart officially right (though obviously not on iTunes). Do the sales of EPs get combined with any individal sales of track 1 officially?

Looks like Two Door Cinema Club aren't doing the business then, I hope we're not still at the point where only big or uber-hyped bands can get hits. Don Broco to change that in a couple of weeks?

Their EP sales are rather reasonable though, I guess a lot of fans will plump for that instead of the individual download, given its price (1.99 for 4 tracks as opposed to 99p for the single download).

Wasn't Sam Smith's last solo single a massive flop though?

Yes, but maybe La La La has gained him some new fans?

Another X Factor play hopefully. :kink:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought only three sales of a track and its remixes from each buyer qualified for chart inclusion? If this is the case, some of the downloads of Can We Dance won't qualify for the chart?

I'm pretty sure as long as they're all distinct versions (which they are in this case), no sales are excluded.
