It's not too late for her to record a non-Xmas version of "One More Sleep".

One more sleep until it's Easter! : D

Skip To The Good Bit at #22. :D

I really wonder why this never took off properly. It seems like the type of song that would be a long running top ten hit or something (ala Mama Do The Hump) and was getting decent airplay, plus is probably the best thing they've ever recorded and yet it only shot up to like #12 for a few days then dropped back down rather quickly.

I think this was used on the credits of something, perhaps a programme just before Emmerdale or Eastenders. It was a remix I think but it was quite good!

Your sig is hilarious!!! Oh my god..I can't stop laughing...

Just watching the history of the singles chart programme on bbc4 really good show - James Masterson was on it.

I also didn't realise of had forgotten Chasing Cars was the last performance on totps in 2006.

Also it has convinced me more than ever that on air on sale is so important to making the charts relevant. One of the reason people lose interest in the charts in the 90s was the constant new no1s every week that got there because they waited to release songs at the right time. What makes it worse now is that people don't have to wait to get the record in a shop so your just making it more likely people will look elsewhere for music!

Because the song's awful, makes no sense, lyrically and sonically atrocious and the worst thing they've ever recorded. 'Skip to the good bit', although there's no good bit in the song and again it makes no sense.

I don't know what you've been listening to but the lyrics make perfect sense to me.

"I like your style, been watching you for a while, said oh yeah, let's dance, and then.. Let's skip to the good bit"

Basically, you're fit, so let's dance, then let's go home and shag.

70 Kanye West feat. Jamie Foxx - Gold Digger

I think it's fair to say that this is a classic already

FOR SURE!

pretty impressive Leona is still 22 when most others are now out the top 100 and only Mariah 98 and Pogues 86 holding on, could be the only xmas song left in the top 100 next update or two. Little Me doing better now at 15

Looks like some people don't realise 'One More Sleep' is a Christmas song :kink: Still at #25, The Pogues hanging in at #99. I hope they have done enough for one more week in the top 40.

'Skip To The Good Bit' is up to #19! To think it was #79 last week :o
