Really ? apart from Fancy and Problem ( which she is only featured in) I don't think really they've supported her that much musically Radio 1 has supported her more glad she is doing Summertime ball though .

 

It was a joke as they've hardly supported her at all but, like with everyone, once they finally get a hit song, they latch onto that success and pretend they've always been supporters.

I wish the song had a MUCH more interesting production as I really like everything else about it.

I still stand my this to be fair but to a lower extent! The only thing that stops this from being 10/10 is the production for me, it's just too simple all the way through.

'Bounce' > 'Fancy' > 'Work' > 'Change You Life'

 

Really beginning to love this now, will be miffed if it doesn't got Top 10; I can sadly see it missing the Top 40 altogether though. :(

I did like this a lot to begin with tbf, but it's now far exceeded 'Bounce' in my affections. It's definitely a grower!

I grew to love it quite a lot as well, to be fair I like all of her singles now except 'Change Your Life'.

The chorus of 'Fancy' goes so well with 'Into The Groove', never would have guessed that on paper. :o

 

It seems 'Into The Groove' mashes with other songs really well (see also the Madonna topic), I need to track some more down.

To be fair, it's not exactly her poppiest song ever is it? The beat is something that 2 Chainz, YG, Kid Ink, Tyga, etc. would rap on.

 

The song's success has surprised me so much, especially in the US where pop stations don't usually touch songs like this (well, they didn't before, after Fancy blew up they've started playing songs like 2 On by Tinashe and Don't Tell 'Em by Jeremih).

 

I think the music video had a lot to do with it tbh. It targets people that wouldn't like this sort of music, and I think after watching a music video a few times it usually makes you get used to the song.
