Talking of pre-orders, Paloma's Can't Rely on You is to 117 following a Graham Norton performance. Could get a reasonable shot at the top ten next week if the pre-order doesn't drop like a stone after this.

The film it features on ('The LEGO Movie') was officially released yesterday. It's half term, so I'm expecting this to climb at least through the weekend! :D

still have yet to hear 'happy' in full, the clip i heard was more than enough. between that and that 'say something' song. what trite, over sentimental nonsense

I much prefer 'Happy' to the two songs he's featured on last year, it's so feelgood and jovial. I'm sure I'll be sick of it by the summer though.

Its use in 'Despicable Me 2' was good! But that was long before it became the huge radio hit it is now. I find it bizarre that he chose to release it so long after the film though :\ - Although it was when 'Blurred Lines' was everywhere, so I guess it was the only logical choice :lol: (Plus to get notice for the Oscars! - 'Let It Go' FTW in that please!)

Judging by his pre-order now in the top 50 zone I imagine Sam Smith will be a midweek #1 then hopefully make way for Clean Bandit by Sunday. AGBW will probably miss out on the top 3 (on its debut week at least - it'll probably climb), I thought it would've picked up a bit but #83 the night before release isn't indicative of a mega-smash.
