This cover is making me angry, a lot of it sounds very off key and he doesn't seem to be hitting 50% off the falsetto notes. I like Bastille and their LL cover of 'We Can't Stop' was great but that was pretty messy and the mash-up was pretty random and ill fitting.

Biography

Born in 1977, Dan Stein, aka DJ Fresh, is one of the most influential figures on the U.K. drum'n'bass scene. Influenced by tapes brought back from illegal raves by older friends, he bought his first turntables in his teens, and while at university, started playing late-night sets on local pirate radio stations. In 1999, as part of the drum'n'bass collective Bad Company, he founded record label BC Recordings and the scene's most popular website, Dogs on Acid. After leaving to pursue a solo career, he remixed tracks for Pet Shop Boys, DJ Shadow, and Apollo 440, and founded the Breakbeat Punk label, which later merged with Adam F's Kaos Recordings to become Breakbeat Kaos. In 2006, he released his debut album, Escape from Planet Monday, and four years later, follow-up Kryptonite produced his first hit single, "Gold Dust," which reached number 24. Building on the commercial success that Kryptonite brought, DJ Fresh released the single Louder, the track - used in a Lucozade advertising campaign - became the first dubstep single to reach the top of the UK singles chart. 2012 saw the release of Fresh’s third studio album, Nextlevelism, which featured collaborations with Rita Ora, Dizzee Rascal and Juliette Lewis. ~ Jon O'Brien, Rovi / iTunes

London Grammar's cover of Pure Shores was the best

Oh I agree, I heard that the other day (not live), absolutely gorgeous. Wish they could have played it over that rather average Bastille cover.

Katy B back in the top 5! :o

Its a bit cheeky mixing Pulp with Michael Jackson considering what happened at the Brits 1996!

Why? What happened?

London Grammar's cover of Pure Shores was the best

I heard that a few days ago - thanks to Brett-Butler - and it is indeed sublime.

Why? What happened?

Jarvis Cocker protested against MJs 'holy' portrayal of himself while performing Earth Song. He invaded the stage then got arrested

Was hoping Katy B would get a new peak this week but she's unlikely to have sold more than David Guetta.
This is so addictive!!! Like a box of chocolates..

Noise. Noise and more noise is all I hear when I listen to this 'song'.

Amazing to see Slaty B in the top 5 again though *.*

I've got a headache of these Dibbys...
Ouch! It was quite an interesting show then!

Yep. Back when the Brits were actually interesting!

Biography

The versatile London, England-based Katy B (aka Baby Katy, Baby Katie), a garage/dubstep vocalist inspired by the likes of Mary J. Blige, Faith Evans, and Gwen Stefani, first gained notice with “Tell Me,” a 2006 single produced by DJ NG. A series of other features followed, including lead turns on Jelly Jams' “I Try,” Geeneus' “Good Life” (a cover of the late-'80s Inner City house classic), and the Count & Sinden's “Hold Me.” All of those tracks preceded the release of her first proper solo single. “Katy on a Mission,” produced by Benga, was issued on Rinse in 2010. The album On a Mission was released the following April and debuted at number two on the U.K. album chart. Nominated for the 2011 Mercury Prize, it was issued that September in the U.S. - iTunes
