Get that UK debut smash Brad Paisley  :cheer:

'The Mona Lisa' is likely to miss the Hot 100 altogether which makes it even more exciting strange for a country artist making the chart :D

So pleased Route 94 is back at the top with a decent lead - Just wish they could overtake officially too!

Pleased/surprised to see Lily holding up well with 'Air Balloon' - Was expecting this to do a Paloma and plummet this week

Shouldn't the Lily Allen song be doing better by now?

It's just an instant grat track for now, so no. It's doing very well already I'd say, not sure if the video is getting any airplay for it?

James Arthur 'Get Down' seems to have peaked at 248 and then dropped out of top 300 again!

Seems he has a reasonable fanbase, but they have the album, and with little airplay [rumours of a ban], and not the best of images I guess that's the end of it for this album. I'm sure he'll get another album [probs with limited success], but if he had learnt to control the connection between his brain and his mouth he might have established himself...

14. Pixie Lott - Nasty

She's got promotion on Loose Women, Life's a patch and Celebrity Juice today, hopefully it's enough for her to climb to around #11-12 on iTunes again. I'm sure 'Nasty' will peak #09 - #10 but it's doing very well for a song that has had rather horrific airplay tbh.

Yep, I'd say he and Azealia Banks are the two key examples of how Twitter can ruin your career.

Some notable pre orders

 35 Duke Damont ft Jax Jones - I got you

 54 Kiesza - Hideaway

 67 Faul Wad and Pnau - Changes :o

All going to be huge in the next few weeks :D

Yep, I'd say he and Azealia Banks are the two key examples of how Twitter can ruin your career.

I'd say it's more to do with them being obnoxious, which would've come across to the public anyway through interviews etc. sooner or later. But Twitter definitely would have sped up the process!

The James Arthur case annoys me because he had the potential to have a lasting career. He's got a distinctive, emotive voice that could lend itself to various genres and has the ability to carry songs, even if the lyrics/whatever else are lacking. 'Recovery' and 'Get Down' are solid songs and I'd consider buying the album if he didn't come across as so arrogant and self-important at every opportunity. It's actually quite a feat to be able to stop people buying your music when they are fans of it but he's managed to do just that and has nobody to blame but himself!

Azealia Banks is far worse than James Arthur imo. She is racist, homophobic, arrogant, she actively endorses wearing fur, she claims she is the best female rapper in the game, she has no respect for other artists and calls children ugly.

James Arthur is just very arrogant and full of his own self importance, and made a homophobic remark one time. He is FAR from as vile as Azealia.

Glad he's flopping though. He's horrible.

I'd say Azealia And James were on the same level of homophobic, vile, arrogant and defensive douchebaggery (as well as both seeming a little mad). They don't deserve record deals.

'Rather Be' re-overtaking 'Happy' - looks like this is the end of absolute domination by 'Happy' but I think it should still stick around in the top 10 for a good few more weeks. The current decade-to-date record for weeks in the top 10 is 18 for Gotye and this is Pharrell's 14th week, he has a good chance of beating that.

'I Got U' pre-order  to #31, looks like a lock for a 100k+ opening. Could even beat Route 94's first week I think!

Tove Lo  #40 - surprised this is still climbing since it's no longer R1's track of the day. Looks like a genuine hit :o

'Blk & Blu' nearly top 40 ( #43) Really hope it can get there next week, another fantastic single from them.

HAIM  to #65 also.

I adore Tove Lo and I'm ecstatic for her having success in any way but it's a shame it's not the majestic original Habits in it's place :( hopefully she breaks through with her future releases too.
From what everyone seems to have said, 'Stay High' is one of her least 'hit' sounding songs, so based on that I'd be surprised if she doesn't break through with anything else!
Had the misfortune to hear that "I'm a Freak" record on local radio this morning whilst they were serving breakfast. Absolute shite - I almost left the room without my breakfast.
I've just listened to 'I'm A Freak'. It's pretty awful but not any more so than your average Enrique Iglesias song, in fact it's probably one of his better songs - I just really don't understand how it's been such a big hit in 2014?! RIDICULOUSLY dated song, can't believe people are still buying songs like this so much. (I actually really liked 'I Like It' but that was a freak occurrence (:P), I can't think of any other Enrique songs I can tolerate, even before he morphed into a generic electropop artist).
