Katy Perry and Rihanna seem to be the only big pop females who haven't flopped recently. I have a bad feeling Rihanna will next era for some reason though :(.

Never mind the apparent battle between 'Roar' and 'Applause', 'Roar' has gone and outsold even 'Just Dance' :P

Roar still sounds just as epic and brilliant as the first time I heard it. Probably now my favourite song of hers.

Roar is terrible. Like really terrible. It's as novelty as the Macarena for me.

"Roar" is on sales of 937K.

She has another song to come though...

"Jar Of Hearts" unbelievably is close to 950K now and may be a million seller early next year. :o

Oh yes, I forgot about her! I do think she is due a flop soon though. But then I always think that about her, who knows.

Did not know Jar of Hearts was that close to a million, such a lovely song to be near it though.

Fight For This Love :wub: When Cheryl Cole dominated the U.K.! This one is so nostalgic for me, I remember having to re-enact some of the moves from the music video in P.E. :lol:

I used to absolutely detest this song, but it has grown on me recently as has Cheryl as a whole (Promise This and Parachute will always remain terrible though).

Totally agree Dand, the painfully cheap wafer thin melody that runs through the whole song- so CHEAP and GRATING. Grr.

 

Fight For This Love was 4th last time this was on?! :o For such a huge hit at the time, it faded really quickly.

I still hate this. It Will Rain and Treasure (aka two of his floppiest singles) will always be the only listenable songs he has done.
