Brilliant top 5 today and very pleased to see Changes back in there  Also is it too much to ask for The Kooks to stay top 40, they are back up to 41 on iTunes but I fear they could slide down to the frustrating #41 peak on Sunday :( Hopefully not though as it's a far better song than Down.

It could actually be a second #40 for them in a row.

I find it a surprise to see Jennifer Lopez improve her album position, i had thought the opposite would occur. I too feat the Kooks will take the number 41 position on Sunday,i really would be happy to see them remain top 40 even if it was number 40 itself.
Ohh, it's such an exciting chart battle, I hope we manage to find out what 5SOS are hanging in by.

wow at Changes returning :o

hopefully we get some top 2 sales. I think Ella will return to #1 on Sunday but it'll be more clear when sales arrive.

unless 5SOS release more versions i doubt they will get number 1. ella has 5 days to make up 22k - 4.4k per day and she caught up 6.8k on the first of those days.

For a second there I thought you meant Ozzy & Kelly...

They do have a physical format, I'm assuming stock will be exhausted by now.

Both physicals are being stocked by most HMVs, I doubt they'd run out of stock like if they were an exclusive to their store :P

Still expecting 5SOS to drop to #2 by Sunday though, which is a shame but at least they're being beaten by a fab song :D

5 days? Help me out here please

Hope we don't get sales today! Will make Sundays official chart placing much more interesting and more unpredictable :D

Ooops 4 days!

Pleasant surprise to see 'Changes' back in the top 40, I know it's been climbing iTunes again due to being used in ads during the WC but didn't realise it had got that high again!

Ed Sheeran looking likely to re-enter the top 20 with 'One' and the top 10 with '+' :D

Does anybody know where Michael Jackson's Xscape album is in the Friday update? Thanks

#14, doesn't seem likely that he'll be able to climb back into the Top 10 though.

Thanks, the album's done well so far so it's not too bad if it drops out of the Top10 now. The 5th anniversary of his death is in a few days, so perhaps that will earn extra sales, although I would hazard a guess the hits compilations will feel the most benefit from it not this new album.

In the USA Xscape just re-entered the Top10 after previously dropping to #12.

Demi looks likely to get #11  would have loved this to scrape in at #10 would be great for her

Wowee at "Changes" returning to the T40 (though it fell out way too quickly the first time around). I was expecting something like #65 this week and then another climb next week, but this is preferable.

Praying The Kooks can hold on, even it is another #40 - it'd be real testament to the quality of this era's music if they could grab a second consecutive T40.

Klaxons 'still' at #27 in the albums chart - please stay T30!

Okay some sales info for yesterday 5SOS 69.5k, Ella 58k

Lana 38,8k, Linkin Park 20k
