Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott - What Have We Become, the album has had a much steadier chart run than i ever expected :yahoo:

I am not majorly surprised by Ed Sheeran holding the number 1 album for a potential 5th week, La Roux did look like having an outside chance but they will certainly chart no higher than number 2 now.

Did Radio 1 play Cher Lloyd or did I dreamt it

It helps that its now only a fiver at HMV and Amazon

Nope, I think they only have time to play 6 songs in half an hour so since she was the 7th new entry she missed out getting played :(

That was a nightmare you were having Martin - she's thankfully been consigned to the Pointless trivia bin under "how the f*ck did that ever get to #1?"

So MAGIC And Cheryl Sold more or less the same amount Yesterday

nearly 12k

Fantastic news ! :cheer:

Despite still being comfortably still at #3 on iTunes still, it looks like streaming is going to push Charli XCX down a place or two :(

Yes so Magic was catching up even yesterday despite looking miles behind on iTunes. I expect that gap has been shrinking rather quickly today. :P

She still has that 22k lead, if the top 2 carry on selling on the same level all week, Cheryl has the #1 in the bag unless MAGIC! increases over the weekend somehow which I can't see them doing that with Cheryl's pre orders.

I must admit Cheryl's track is a bit of a disappointment, the awful noises in the background makes it... one big mess. Come Sunday... TV muted :D

That's because iTunes is a rolling chart. MAGIC! have caught up by 82 copies, still around 22k between them. MAGIC! would need to outsell Cheryl by 7.3333...k copies every day on average, which to me seems very unlikely.

There are four days left so that's 5,5k they need to outsell Cheryl by every day. But if they sold 12k yesterday, it seems impossible for them to outsell by such a big margin ! :)

Oh that's true, ignore me then  Forgot that Wednesday mids don't actually include Wednesday :P But yes, that's still quite a large amount for them to outsell her by, can't see it happening thankfully as it's not as if she's gonna sell 0 copies for the rest of the week.

I do love Ella's chart run, if she pushes Charli down a place, the track has been top 5 for a few weeks now, never expected her to stick around, I really thought the track would fall away after Week 3.
By the way, today's figures lead to a new projection of 122k by the end of the week for Cheryl. :)
Aww Jubel out of the top 40, I was liking that longevity! and ouch at Milky Chance :( and Don't almost out of the top 40!
