Am I the only one completely bored of the Christmas songs and the fact the same one re-enter every single year? The are just awful. The only Christmas song I have ever liked is Wham but its been so over played I can't listen to it now.

I'd take a year hearing the same Xmas songs on the chart over the same Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith & George Ezra tracks every week.

I agree the Guetta song hasn't flopped but it hasn't had massive longevity either. And it's not bad it's just a bit ho-hum. Doesn't help that the intro is so much more interesting than the rest of the song.

Album Discussion Here

Hozier. This should climb next week as it's back on the Radio 1 playlist. :) Unless it's an error on the Radio 1 website and they've playlisted the next single.

Joey Essex is going into music? lawd, I hope he doesn't chart with anything :drama:

His first single 'Reem' missed the Top 200 so...., Apperently he wants to go into music as his 2 compilation albums that he probably had nothing to do with have both gone silver so he seems to think he can launch a singing career off the back of those

Take Me To Church  This has really hit me this past week, really loving its longevity.
Hozier has held up better than expected this week~ maybe it has a chance of finally going top ten in 2015 with renewed R1 support?!
This seems to be a bit marmite from the reactions this week. I think its a gorgeous track personally.

I guess a male singer/songwriter style track is always gonna be quite divisive on Buzzjack, see Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran and John Legend for more evidence! (personally I like them all though, and Tom Odell who is my favourite of them all)
