So glad "Chandelier" is still top 40, amazing chart run! I thought it wouldn't even last a whole month in the top 40.

I think the 'gift card effect' is and will get less and less each year - 2 years ago all my nieces and nephews wanted for Christmas was iTunes cards, This year it was all about Spotify subscriptions.

You're probably right - although there may just be a massive increase in streaming sales (as there has been this year I think) instead :P

Still loving 'Last All Night (Koala)' ~ shame about the drop :snif:

'Blame' :music:

Wham has climbed significantly! Maybe Mariah & The Pogues will too? Should see some monster streaming figures...
Hurray for Shakin' Stevens making it in the end :cheer: caught the tail end of it though :( also next to Wizzard too :D my two favourites :)
Gorgon City had dropped to well outside the top 40 on iTunes by the end of the week so yes, it's pretty likely they'll be gone.

They were #15 on Christmas Eve and then still top 40 some of Christmas day/then dropped to ~70ish but have since been climbing (in both streams/sales). I really hope they've held on or will be back next week. :(

The sales from Xmas day onwards will have been a lot higher than the previous days though. They're still only #57 on iTunes so I'd be surprised if they were back next week but it's possible it could be back eventually (like Sub Focus' 'Turn Back Time' last year).

It was well behind Last All Night and that's already been and gone so I doubt it highly.

Gorgon City won't be re-entering anytime I think.

Can't say this climb wasn't expected, at least it didn't re-enter top 20.

this reminds me Don't will probably be back in the top 20 :drama: it'll be a long while before we have an Ed-free chart show.
