was the song just used as background music on Eastenders or was it more prominently used? Either way that is an impressive boost for Guetta

The full song (albeit sped up slightly) was used at the end of the show during a firework display.

No it was predominately used as part of an ending montage.

Woah :o I can't remember the last time EE had such a big effect on a song.

Gods & Monsters? That went from no where to a #39 peak and another week just outside the top 40.

Just shows what high ratings and the effective use of a full song can do :o

It's been in my head all day and I can't stand Emeli Sande -_-

Madonna isn't released tonight right? It's going to be Brits night?

I think David Guetta's guaranteed Top 40 at the very least tomorrow now....probably at the expense of Bakermat :(

I was never fussed about the song, but since eastenders it's been in my head all day. Helps that it's at the top of the 59p batch when you open it too. What are we predicting for this?

Top 30? #29

I'd kinda forgot about it after the XF performance but good to see it make a resurgence and surely a repeak.

One of the middle tracks on the album for me, decent but not standout. Hey Mama is so much better (definitely in the minority on this one though )

Kelly up to 102 now :D looking very certain to go top 10 now. Just hope now its streaming performance will be decent next week.

Yes, 'Hey Mama' is atrocious!

When you think about it, lyrically the song was perfect. It reflected the episode as a whole and represented what Jane, Mick and Phil did for their families.

Hope it can stay Top 10 into next week. Being 59p should help it.

As long as it doesn't end up outpeaking 'Dangerous'. To me it's just another lazy and dull song from him and a MASSIVE step down from 'Dangerous' which was his best single for years.

Hey Mama is by FAR the best on the album! It's good to see him doing something different, I hate when DJs like him and Calvin Harris do most of their albums on autopilot :drama: In those cases it's usually the featured artist who redeems the songs but on Calvin Harris' album even Tinashe and Gwen Stefani (well, the latter can't carry her own songs this era let alone anyone else's) who I LOVE can't elevate the songs above about a 7/10.

Yeah, it was a great song to sum up the episode, but also something upbeat for the fireworks.

If only they played Madonna - Living For Love. She would be coming for #1 next week. ;)

YAY for Kelly, both that and Disciples going top 10 next week would be an ideal result for me.

(And Madonna but that's a pipe dream)

Kelly is going to miss top 10 unless she can climb to about 4 on Wednesday, due to BRITS effect. :drama: (I didn't take this into consideration the other day! :()

Oh dear I completely forgot about the Brits. Hopefully she'll go top 20 and maybe climb to the top 10 the week after? She has Loose Women on Monday 2nd March I believe. Urgh if only she released a week or two later.
