Thought that was "Out Of The Woods"?

#r00d

Didn't mean to come across like that :P

Could be, I think I read an article about it when 1989 was released & they mentioned Style.

I missed when the chart was based on your opinion... :P

If it was, Mirror Man would be in instead of G.D.F.R.

Anyone fancy a wine gum?

Legit yes.

'Thinking Out Loud' clinging on for dear life in the top twenty then, was expecting more weeks for it in the 11-20 region so that's something, at least! :D

'We never go out of style' does relate to 1D, and 'Take Me Home' is in the song, one of their albums, you may be on to something there! ;) (Probably IS actually about him, though)

You mean she's not saying 'Take Me Out'? :o

Dying that "Style" is above TOL in US airplay but this is higher in the UK :P

Only Harry would have long enough hair for the "long hair, slicked back, white T-shirt" line , being a post-Red ex and all :P
I absolutely cannot stand this song. It has to drop! And fast!

It's not quite as painful as watching you bang on about it EVERYWHERE ALL THE TIME.

Just sayin'

Biography

Although the first solo single from soul-inspired, London-born artist Sam Smith was issued in early 2013, it was his soaring vocal contribution to Disclosure's October 2012 U.K. garage track "Latch" which brought him to most people's attention. For most of his teens, Smith balanced study with music, soaking in the raw and passionate approach to performance exemplified by his favorite artists at that time such as Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, and Chaka Khan. "Latch" hit the upper reaches of the U.K. singles chart when Smith was 21, and many were surprised when his debut solo track took a more tempered path. The production on February 2013's "Lay Me Down" — also courtesy of the ordinarily dancefloor-focused duo Disclosure — recalled the stripped-back material that had proved successful for Adele in the preceding years. Next, Shahid Khan — aka Naughty Boy — decided to follow his Emeli Sandé-fronted U.K. Top Ten hit "Wonder" with the infectious, Bollywood sample-driven "La La La." Featuring Smith's powerful lead vocal, it became an instant May 2013 U.K. number one single following his spring tour in support of Sandé. - iTunes
