This is woeful compared to the BRITs performance...

I much prefer it slowed down

This to plummet next week please.

This is the original Disclosure remix of this song isn't it? :o It's not bad, still badly strained in the vocals, but slightly more interesting production.

Nope, it is in fact "Take me home" that she sings!

Gosh, her diction is terrible :drama:

I think a raccoon broke into the studio and sped up the song and sang over it :jameela:

Normal service will be resumed with the 11-40 recap! If I haven't been KILLED by the TEDIUM of this Sam Smith song by then. (This seems to be a sped up version which is somehow marginally more tolerable though. Hmm).

It sounds like a version that's been pitched for YouTube

I think a raccoon broke into the studio and sped up the song and sang over it :jameela:

!!!!!

I think it's this version, which is probably the 2013 original:

Gosh, her diction is terrible :drama:

Move over Ari/Sia. :kink:

Gosh even the help of Disclosure cannot make this enjoyable. :(

Here's DJ Fresh to liven things up now.

I think a raccoon broke into the studio and sped up the song and sang over it :jameela:

!!! I'm crying at this

Biography

Born in 1977, Dan Stein, aka DJ Fresh, is one of the most influential figures on the U.K. drum'n'bass scene. Influenced by tapes brought back from illegal raves by older friends, he bought his first turntables in his teens, and while at university, started playing late-night sets on local pirate radio stations. In 1999, as part of the drum'n'bass collective Bad Company, he founded record label BC Recordings and the scene's most popular website, Dogs on Acid. After leaving to pursue a solo career, he remixed tracks for Pet Shop Boys, DJ Shadow, and Apollo 440, and founded the Breakbeat Punk label, which later merged with Adam F's Kaos Recordings to become Breakbeat Kaos. In 2006, he released his debut album, Escape from Planet Monday, and four years later, follow-up Kryptonite produced his first hit single, "Gold Dust," which reached number 24. Building on the commercial success that Kryptonite brought, DJ Fresh released the single Louder, the track - used in a Lucozade advertising campaign - became the first dubstep single to reach the top of the UK singles chart. 2012 saw the release of Fresh’s third studio album, Nextlevelism, which featured collaborations with Rita Ora, Dizzee Rascal and Juliette Lewis. ~ Jon O'Brien, Rovi / iTunes

Discussion Thread Here

That version of 'Lay Me Down' actually much improved it.

What's with all these songs only dropping one place?

Gravity another week in the top 20!

Stunning in every aspect

Ella vocals over DnB production is perfection.

The verses in "Gravity"! The chorus is nothing special though.

I think it's this version, which is probably the 2013 original:

It doesn't sound like the orginal though Its on the album and not how I remember it though... So confused

Gravity is such an amazing song. DJ Fresh's best. It's thankfully outlasted the horrendous Dibby Dibby Sound, hopefully it can outlast the abysmal Earthquake too!
