I much prefer this to Symphony, which I thought was a bit generic!

Generic?!??!? Let me just change my rate score for you to a zero -_-

This, to me, is very much a signature sound of their New Eyes album and wouldn't have sounded out of place on there. If I'm honest it would've made a perfect bridge single between the two eras to tide people over. Nonetheless, the song is still amazing

Agree with this.

I might end up liking this more than Symphony, especially if they get some good remixes.

She's what?!!!!!

So glad Marina is on a track for the first time in ages, I think regardless of opinion I think we can all agree on that.

she's dating jack! pretty sure it's been a thing for 1-2 years now :o

This works in theory, but the track just goes nowhere, despite great vocals from Marina and good production from Clean Bandit. I really wanted everyone and myself to love it though and for Marina to have some sort of hit. Can they go in a record a new song please?

It kind of feels like they've already brushed this under the rug. It wasn't added to hot songs and they didn't even bother changing the tag from 2015 to 2017 on Spotify, so it remains burried on there.

I'm still shocked it's not top 100 in the first set of the midweeks. :(

I definitely think this was released to shut up Marina fans

It's good and Marina sounds incredible on it. I just feel like it should be a lot stronger than what it currently is.

I can now see why this was never seen as a serious single, just lacking any punch unlike the majority of their hits.

Sad that after years of waiting this finally came out, was met by disappointed opinions from most and did absolutely nothing despite Clean Bandit just coming off the back of 3 humongous hits and has been swept under the carpet.

It'd be good if Marina could collab with them again on something a bit better. I'd love her to get a hit.

Was it even meant to do anything though? It kind of felt to me that they just put it out there to shut the people up who'd been moaning at them for years, kind of almost like it got the same treatment as an instant grat or something.

I think it is a seriously brilliant song, but in hindsight it was missing key elements from the live Coachella version. Like, more funk guitars in the verses, more strings in the chorus, the more upbeat disco-esque build-up to the chorus.

Yeah that's basically my point, they talked about it originally 2 years ago as if it would be their big new single, and obviously got cold feet when they realised it didn't work as time went on so clearly got it out there in as low key a manor as possible.

Wasn't really too sure about this at first but I find myself playing it a lot on Spotify and I think it's grown to be a lovely track & up there with their best now imo. Maybe it's something that would have perhaps done a bit better 3 years ago.
It's an amazing song, why is it just a promo single? It should be a proper single!!!

Because it's nothing like the other release. The lyrics are unmemorable. The whole song needs a bit more punch. So bad but it sounds like FORGET.

Agree. Also it was very obviously made in 2015, and is stalling on the charts. Clean Bandit have been going poppier and poppier with their latest releases and it's been paying dividends in #1s. This track, much as I personally like it, is just not as pop or on-trend as Rockabye or Symphony.

If they've got collabs with Jess Glynne and Sam Smith in the works, there's no way I can see it being a good idea to promote this instead. Marina's not exactly a big name draw compared.

Well I am usually an advocate of funky house production but I prefer the new version, Marina's voice suits atmospheric production I think and not nu disco.

Her singing on the verses with those fast trance style synths makes me realise she would sound great on a vocal trance track, if trance ever comes back into mainstream popularity.
