Well it still 4 and 29 on Amazon so it's selling a few there. I would think a few more sold in HMVs this weekend. + I think Banquet record sales have been held back a bit .

As has been suggested, casual fans are going to be a tad confused as to where XMAS is after they download from iTunes….though that’s probably ten people given the state of the download market.

Did they say on SCD that it was an Amazon exclusive? Hopefully a few went straight to Amazon and bought the green version.

Still nothing from Banquet. If Kylie has left the UK then I’m not sure how she’s going to personally sign my CD and vinyl. Unless they had so many to post out that they’re doing it in batches.

It'll likely be the latter, Banquet can be veryyyyy slow to dispatch things

No new physicals this week - it’ll potentially be casuals picking up the album or fans completing their collection.

Hopefully the SCD performance helped some people seek it out.

Really have no idea where it’ll land week 2 - hoping for Top 20 but could totally plummet.

Some people have started receiving their Banquet orders today, mine haven’t been dispatched yet so there could be sales to add from that unless they counted them before shipment.

Reckon they counted them last week but be great if not.

Hopefully the first midweek update shows the Christmas album in a solid position.

No 23 in the midweeks, hopefully it will rise a bit with the Strictly exposure yesterday

Not too mad with that - hopefully it climbs back up a bit but regardless it’s done its job (and might produce a Christmas #1 single too).

Plus its streaming contribution might be slightly better this week and much better next so at least it could be three top 40/50 weeks with decent sales. Week after it’ll be long gone ha ha.

I wont lie i did think it might manage to stay top 10 but im not hugely disappointed with the result either as it more than done its job last week.

I knew it would slump down, hopefully it can keep a top 40 place.

Really cant figure out whats happening with the cd version here in Ireland, as i originally posted i had it ordered from Golden Discs but only my vinyl came and was told the cd isnt available until January 5th as i ordered the Exclusive to Golden Discs version but they only told me after the order dispatched.

A friend of mine was in Galway at the weekend and i asked them to see if its available in the Galway branch of the store and he was told they were unable to get the cd version and the vinyl was sold out.

I went ahead and ordered the Amazon version from Amazon.ie and today got an email saying not available for dispatch until January 5th so there definitely is a stock issue.

It will be interesting to how /if the album charts here in the week of January 12th as anyone waiting for the cd will have it counted towards the charts that week but i would say its pretty safe to say the album wont be top 100 here this week after its disappointing debut at 40 last week. Many people may have cancelled their order and bought elsewhere like UK stores so the sales won't count to Ireland plus it also means Kylie will have lost out on any potential casual sales as no casual will pick it up in January when Christmas is over.

While the release was handled well in the UK the same cant be said for here but i doubt it will worry them too much as sales in Ireland in general would count for little.

Sorry if it was mentioned already but I just noticed that Hot in December is currently 9th in Kylie's Popular Top 10 on Spotify!
