December 21, 201510 yr I don't think they really see it as a problem at the midweek stage! The data is either all included, or upweighted to represent a full week of data, by Friday :D Or, like I said earlier, wouldn't like to admit that they don't actually have all data!

If they're not deliberately trying to make the race sound closer than it is, they should have no problem disclosing which data they have included in their headline figure and which they have yet to receive.

No because this happens every week, there is always a delay in the reporting of streaming data by around a day (sometimes more). Justin Bieber has gained about 5K on the NHS single in a day which pretty much confirms he is selling the same amount and Saturday's streaming has been added since yesterday (probably around 5K). Given they are falling away on iTunes a comfortable lead of around 9K is likely tomorrow and by the end of the week the margin may be as high as 20-25K.

It's just the same song they released two years ago (which didn't do much) so I don't get this campaign at all.
