Looks like Adele isn't having to fend of anyone!. Almost 40K against 12k for Jess....Adele on 100K at least by end of week?. Certainly enough to take number one best selling album so far this year.

Noooo, that's waaaay too optimistic. I don't see that happening, rather between 60-70k

Re Adele...I'm just going on the 2.5 times formula based on first midweeks, maybe that isn't relevant any more?.

Not since the chart move which meant that the weekend effect had already passed by the first update.

Ahh.ok..thanks.. I checked last week and she increased by about 2.2 times, but I think first midweeks then hadn't had the Brit effect much.

25 sold around 6.5k Sunday. if she sells Mo-Thu 6k that's 4*6 = 24k

39k + 24 = 63k (very rough estimation, but she won't sell 6-7k Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. These are the weekest days of the week)

I know I'm doing my bit on streaming Electric 10 times for every version on Spotify, have been doing so all week.

Doubt it will reach the top 200 though, it didn't even reach the top 1000 iTunes :snif:

Great to see Adele get a huge mother's day boost! Should pass 2.7 million sales this week and overtake David Bowie for the YTD #1. The tour likely boosting the album a bit too.

Also great to see Jess Glynne getting a boost in the albums chart. Really hoping "Ain't Got Far to Go" can make the top 40, but looking very unlikely. :(

Great sales for Adele, obviously sales will weaken during the week with Mothers Day over but 60,000 seems possible.

fantastic stuff for alan walker :cheer: ~ 'faded' is all kinds of lush

would be amazing if 'i took a pill in ibiza' remains at #2, although rihanna is likely push mike posner all the way with her sizable streaming advantage~

plz let tiësto & oliver heldens finally make the top40 this week :snif:

But it's not worth it for #983

Rihanna down to 25. Surprising as Work is still doing well.

Floppier than Rebel Heart.

Work has done well though, despite it being s**t.

I'm thinking with her streams on the decrease and his on the increase he can maybe keep it?

Work From Home sounds like a much more accessible version of Work to my ears. Work is very very catchy though, if slightly left-field for a huge chart hit.

Even so, the Fifth Harmony track sounds less basic than 'Worth It' but just as catchy which suggests a progression in sound. In short, both will be massive hits. (I prefer Rihanna/Drake though ;)).

Some big climbs for Mothers Day related albums -

Ronan Keating up 8

Cilla Black up 55

Enya up 36

Celine Dion up 11

Rod Stewart up 15

Jess Glynne up 4 plus first time it's been in the Top 3 since October
