I'd say it's definitely dance, the dance beats can be heard throughout and it'd go down a storm in a club I'm sure, although it's definitely got pop influences, like many dance songs that appear in the chart!

In that way I suppose its a bit like the classic that was Agnes - Release Me - big vocals, disco influences, dance beats with some obvious pop influences from Agnes....

And Ben, yes I can only hope those pan pipes and saxophones fading into the distance....

Oh GOD no. As if one version of 'One Dance' wasn't enough... :drama:

I will literally cry if it goes on to spend another 8 weeks at number 1...

Yeah I think so! It seems quite common especially recently for dance and pop to be mashed together in a chart hit, see Justin Bieber's Sorry for another example!

Drake must surely just be greedy for success now? Literally no need for a Justin Bieber feature on 'One Dance'.
Drake ft. Justin Bieber - One Dance

New version out soon

OMG  King Drake coming for even more weeks at #1!!!

hopefully soon means sometime this week so that it gets an 8th consecutive week at #1.

Which is why I said it was like the mid 00s when dance and pop mixed together was everywhere. :)

Strange you call DJ Snake and the Sex song EDM I thought it was future bass

I know it's not April 1st but someone PLEASE tell me the Drake/Justin thing is one big joke  I really don't think I can handle it being #1 much longer :(
The streaming will be crazy for JB and Drake, crazy!
I bet Cowell's already on the phone for a Louisa Johnson feature.

Please no that would ruin the disco feel of the song. The point is that the song makes you forget its a 2016 song and think of better times and Justin Beibers voice would bring that back to earth.

Drake adding a Justin Bieber remix is hit whoring if ever I saw one, shall we just crown him with his consecutive number 1 weeks record now :magic:

Just when the sales for that are about to drop off, he'll probably drop a Beyonce remix... seems like he's after Bryan Adams' weave

It has still a long way to go to beat Bryan Adams

I dont think second versions while a song is still doing well anyway would have provided that many.new sales in the past, but with streams now it will be probably more of an effect when second versions are released.

Chainsmokers Ft Daya - Don't Let Me Down  45

Should definitely go top 40 this week now  I do wish Roses stuck around longer though.. both so much better when compared to that Selfies horror -_-

 42. Dua Lipa - Hotter Than Hell

Hopefully this can re-peak soon, definitely one of the best songs of 2016 so far!

And yet those people who complain about Drake being #1 for ages still tune in to the chart religiously.....

To me the song is quite decent but it's ongoing run at #1 despite not being the best selling song anymore symbolizes how things are chartwise now so you just have to put up with it if the chart is still a big deal to you.
