It's not a huge week for singles, with new songs from Dua Lipa and Sean Paul, and the top 3 probably being fought between, once again, current number 1 Major Lazer as well as Dj Snake or Chainsmokers.

It's the album chart which is a little more interesting. Frank Ocean could very well hold up at #1, but will slowly falling sales and the fact it's only available on iTunes/Apple prove as a hindrance? Never under-estimate the older generation's love for a cover album, Barbra Streisand could easily come for Frank. And then there's Britney Spears, who's never had a #1 album in the UK, but could very well take advantage of a low point in UK album sales.

DJ Snake and Barbra Streisand are my predictions

DJ Snake in the singles? You could be right but given sales were declining week-on-week, my money is on Chainsmokers now.

Ideally another week for Major Lazer but failing that (and it seems likely) then Chainsmokers. Question is, how many weeks will that then clock up...
Britney will probably drop behind Frank Ocean to #3 but that's quite some recovery from Britney Jean. A hugely deserved recovery with an album that's 100 times better mind.

I reckon Chainsmokers could just sneak in, I wouldn't be surprised if DJ Snake will be #1 in the first mid update though on Monday with all the missing data missing from the weekend.

Barbra Striesand should easily bag the #1 album, some people do like a cover album of old stuff.

I'll certainly take #3 for Britney! Hopefully the viral Carpool keeps the sales being too frontloaded to the first day.
Wonder if Britney's sales could hold over the next few weeks with her playing the apple music festival, there's also the vma's

Streaming The Chainsmokers on repeat!

Pleased for Britney but with no hit single to sustain the album surely she's coming for that 3-38-73 chart run?

Britney on course for her fifth number 2 Album!

Always the bridesmaid never the bride ( in the Album chart anyway )

MintRoyale said she has a chance of hanging on to #2

Mint Royale also said the last Saturdays single had a chance of going Top 10....

Streaming The Chainsmokers on repeat!

There in a nutshell is the flaw with the influence of streaming but I guess that is another thread!
