This is not just good, but so, so important too. Whether it's intended to be a statement single or not, the song is stunning, meaningful and the video is visually beautiful. I feel so proud of her releasing this, for a while I thought she may never release any music again.

This is both a fantastic song and such a statement. Good for her.

I can't eyeroll enough at THIS AIN'T NO TIK TOK BANGER comments. There was a very real possibility she wouldn't make music again. She's been through so much and this song is obviously important for her, as well as important for other women. I don't often feel proud of people I haven't met or have little interest in, but I'm proud of her for this. She did that~

It's an OK song, wish it built up a bit more quicker though but that last minute is something else! I wonder if she'll be able to pull those notes off live...

That was my worry on first listen also - going to be difficult to sell the song as it is so challenging vocally. I know it's not the best comparison but I can see 'Praying' being compared to Sia's vocal style by the media.

Eyeroll all you want. I'm a huge fan of all her stuff and have all of her past albums. This is just a dud. I'd rather she never released music again than have this lacklustre song.

If the statement element wasn't there it'd be even worse, really don't like it at all and I'm really disappointed.

I AM f***ING SOBBING

HOLY SHIT I WAS NOT EXPECTING THIS MUCH EMOTION THIS EARLY IN THE DAY

This would smash with a performance on a show like X-Factor. Sadly there are none on at the moment

doesn't help UK charts at all, but I know America's Got Talent is on air currently, so there's at least that!

Holy f***ing shit this is magnificent! What a voice she has!!!

I really wasn't expecting a track like this from Kesha but she suits it so well. It's really really wonderful. What a way to comeback after all the pain she's been through. Not an angry anthem, but a smouldering building powerful 'you will never break me, you only made me stronger' anthem instead. Love it.

Absolutely stunning song!

Hope she gets a lot of support after what's shes gone through....

What did I just EXPERIENCE.

When was the last time a pop female gave us this much true, honest raw emotion and passion and just bared themselves so bare for us all to witness in front of them. The vocal performance is phenomenal, the video is spellbinding, the entire song and package is classy, important and real. I am truly and utterly gobsmacked and I can't believe she has come back with such force.

I have always believed that she does tender moments better than ANY of the recent pop females and have always wished she'd release one as a single (her past two albums shone so much because of the album tracks) and now she begins an era like this.

I am not going to get over this moment of pop history. It is such a statement and I am so proud of her laying her demons down in such beautiful style.

WE WERE BORN TO BREAK THE DOORS DOWN FIGHT UNTIL THE END IT'S SOMETHING THAT'S INSIDE OF US IT'S HOW WE'VE ALWAYS BEEN WARRIOR

Might still be a juggernaut on the charts...it's very Wrecking Ball, plus it has all the themes to hit empowering woman anthem and empowering gay anthem

Everything about this is absolutely PERFECT. The lyrics, the visuals, he sheer emotion 🙌🏼 I had no idea what she'd come back with but I knew it would be something special and this is certainly that. I can see it being pretty. If you've honest, there'll be so much buzz about her return after everything that's gone on and I think a song like this could really connect with the public.

Not enough eye rolling in the world for this. After everything she's been through did you really want or expect her to come back with a trashy dance pop single about partying? (No disrespect to her previous material because I love it) Surely as a 'huge fan' you understand that this first release is going to be so emotional for her?

I always adored 'The Last Goodbye', but this seriously is incredible! Such raw emotion and you can actually tell how she meant every single lyric!

I'm shook

I hate the instant "this'll flop on the chart" brigade which have come storming in! the statement is way more powerful and will be remembered long into the future more than it's chart peak

No brigade just being honest. Artists need hits or they'll get dropped.

She could have quite easily made a statement song and turned into something more untempo, this is just a snooze fest.
