The Kamaliya - Aphrodite (Funk-Device remix) is actually very good imo! Certainly more lively and not as generic as a lot of dance in the chart at the minute (Instruction excepted). Maybe it did get some buyers outside her fanbase and that's why it was as high as #15.

the pattern of the other 2 Kamaliya tracks today has been identical, they were not in the charts and then they suddenly appeared in the top 40 with identical figures, and it's been like that for the last 2 updates, if the occ does not see how fishy this is...

I really hope so. Definitely feel like Havana gives Camilo more identity as a pop star, whereas CITC could have been done as well by multiple established artists IMO.

 

So happy the girls are really delivering in the second half of this year.

Camila got to around #17 with Havana, didn't she?

You mean the Funk-Device remix that makes it a much better song imo of course! :D Was actually almost considering making a dance forum thread for this remix given that I like it but it would probably just attract comments about the usual theories to do with Kamaliya singles about why it was doing so well on itunes and not anything about the quality of the song :lol:

 

Pleased this remix is doing the best of any of her singles in the UK considering its much better than her other recent songs imo. Maybe some outside-her-fanbase buys here!
