I also don't think 35K (day 1) is such a huge advantage, Ed has big promo coming and sure Eminem will be frontloaded + lots are cherrypicking River

Can somebody confirm how the Eminem streaming will work - so all his album tracks are in the Spotify top 200 but only 3 most popular will be eligible to chart - so Walk on Water, Believe and River at the moment? (Is that right?)

yes, the best selling 3 (itunes+spotify)

I think that'll probably be enough for Eminem to get the #1 album considering that doesn't include streaming sales yet. I don't think 'River' will get the #1 single (yet) though, 'Perfect' still ahead combined on both iTunes and Spotify.

the Eminem album is good but relays too much on the guests, if the album was just him shouting over tracks like when he uses Cranberries' Zombie, it would be unlisteanable

 

oh and just read Adele was the 1st option on Walk on water, thank God she wasn't available!!!! ;)

I'd imagine Eminem is nearer 40k with streams and Ed/Sam are on 10-12k! There won't have been many preorders for eminem either as it was only released to preorder!!!

Its more than likely Eminem will be number 1 but Ed Sheeran will give him a good run for his money which is incredible when the album has already sold over 2.5 million and was released almost a year ago.

I'm so annoyed at this chart week. I really want Last Christmas to repeak/take the #1 but Wham! is almost certainly gonna be stuck at #2 behind Perfect & River. But then I also really want River to give Eminem another #1.

Ed will bag the #1 album with ease. I'm calling 105k Ed to 90k for Eminem.
