I get home on Sunday so stay tuned for our Logo reveal! In the meantime we’re thrilled to confirm that Morpeth Cove will be the host city for the 102nd BJSC. Please apply for your visas for entry to Ashton at your local consulate. Tinnmark and FSR Rontvia need not apply as they have free movement with Ashton. Foreign language entries are heavily encouraged. We look forward to the contest returning to Ashton later this week!
February 5, 20187 yr Very prompt! I actually currently have no clue what I'm going for this month but it's hiiighly likely to be another foreign language song (quite possibly Spanish although I fully expect to crash out in the semi if I go for that one) so I support this foreign language hype as ever! #waronenglish
February 5, 20187 yr Probs going back to rock for 102 and sending a song I've been postponing for two months
February 5, 20187 yr Green room already :o yay! Unfortunately I do not have any foreign language potentials on me right now (if only this was 3 contests earlier x), but my planned entry for 102 is a 6 minute breakcore instrumental *.* so hyped to unleash this one.
February 5, 20187 yr Considering 6 of my last 10 entries have been in a foreign language, I may have to continue that trend... I'm a bit unsure at the moment on what exactly to send but I feel confident I can pull something out of the bag for an Ashton contest.
February 5, 20187 yr Actually I have 2 foreign languages songs in queue but will see if I'll stick to them until contest starts...and yeah bring on BJSC CII
February 5, 20187 yr Author I have a fab track lined up for 102 I’m super excited about. It is of course in a foreign language, we are going with German for the first time! (And totally taking our AQ spot)
February 5, 20187 yr I have no idea what to go for next after Femme En Fourrure crashed and burned! Perhaps we will find ourselves going back to safe indie rock or something...
February 6, 20187 yr I've just found out that one of my Spanish potentials is a version of a centuries old poem. That formula worked well for Lotunia in BJSC 101, maybe it won't be too disastrous after all... Super super different to everything I've ever sent before but experimentation is always a good thing right x
February 6, 20187 yr My 60th *. Got quite an unconventional track for my country (it has vocals for one ;o)
February 6, 20187 yr How appropriate, I will be entering a German song for this contest. It's not a foreign language one though,it's sung in English. It's the first pop song I have sent and also the shortest.
February 6, 20187 yr Klum Rep will be back! No idea what I'm sending just yet - George Maple 'Hero' was my planned entry for this contest but alas!
February 6, 20187 yr I have quite a few foreign language songs queued up and waiting to be sent (yes I know, no one is shocked). Not exactly sure where to go from here because I keep doing awfully. I have a comedy track that I may send because Aesthetica has literally become a joke at this point, but who knows? Got a few days to think it over. Edited February 6, 20187 yr by travis
