Rob you hit the nail on the head! It's just such an incredible journey that demands you and doesn't let you breathe, because it's all bangers it's just non stop *.*s for me, there's nothing that falls behind with lacking prodution or anything, so it's been hard to pluck what my faves are but....

01 Rain On Me (as said, this is gonna be an all tme fave for me)

02 Stupid Love (has a different vibe from much of the album so it really stands out even more)

03 Alice (THAT CHORUS!!)

04 Sour Candy (grows and grows each listen)

05 Free Woman (love the empowering feel to this, feels like a Gaga classic)

06 Sine From Above (the production *.* The ending is a bit weird but like it's just the ending so it's fine)

07 Enigma (one of those that feels like a grower but instantly hit me hard!)

08 Fun Tonight (I love the sad bop weeping on the dancefloor vibe at the best of the times so Gaga doing it had to be a win)

09 Babylon (a bit too on the nose Vogue but if you're gonna copy a song it may as well be something as iconic as Vogue, so it can't be a bad thing)

10 Replay (lite bop)

11 1000 Doves (I thought this was gonna be the token ballad based on title, but solid)

12 Plastic Doll (bits of this I love and bits I'm hmm on)

13 911(I think this is gonna take a few listens but it's good)

Mood.

an album. :cheeseblock:

No filler at all and the dancefloor doesn't let up through every track! I now understand the Chromatica interludes as they are kind of palette cleansers so we can enjoy each section of songs even more! They are pretty spectacular also in their little bitesize moments and they blend well into the next song!

Sine From Above gave me actual goosebumps on first listen - and getting Elton John on a club banger like that?! WHAT. Definitely a stand out for me even if it took a sec to get used to Elton's

voice, the outro breakdown also omg - twist and turns and drama! 11/10 straight away. actually speechless.

Also glad to see that Chromatica II into 911 had people shooketh too. That was the very first thing I went back and listened to! I made the stank face.

Overall the production shines so strong throughout the whole album - the likes of BloodPop, Tchami, BURNS etc have done an incredible job tbh! I think this sounds so fresh and ahead of the rest of the game in 2020! Early highlights for the unheard tracks would be Alice, Sine From Above, Fun Tonight and Babylon.

Sour Candy sounds really good as part of the album and gives a slightly different club song - it's too cool for its own good. Maybe it could be a 3rd single in the end? Rain On Me also sounded fantastic as part of the album. I do think Stupid Love is a little out of place on the album, very strong song in it's own right but it's sounds sonically a little different to the rest of the album, like it was recorded first and then put with the rest of the album.

Buzzjack crashing so many times adds to the frantic energy of Chromatica tbh

Very early days, but I can see this very easily surpassing at least ARTPOP, Joanne and The Fame... not sure about The Fame Monster and Born This Way ~

Omg this is such an amazing night and being able to share this with other people who are so passionate is making me emotional.

f was a message to every artist releasing music in 2020: f***ing try if you want but you won't x

I do feel like 'Babylon' is purposefully very 'Vogue' — as an homage to it and that classic nineties sound, as well as a playful reference to what she went through with the 'Express Yourself' drama and those early years in her career.

That's gossip! Rip that song! Babble on!

My second listen is already throwing my ranking around
On the five years I’ve been on here I can’t remember a release exciting the community as much as this. The only thing that came even close was Britney’s Glory. As I said, icons only ❤️

The albums been out an hour but I definitely feel this is her most cohesive album.

Every track is like exactly where it should be me it flows really well.

This is literally exactly what I wanted from her. It’s super euphoric but not generic, deep but not ballads.

I love this woman with all my heart

Stupid Love is the Perfect Illusion of this album it sounds better with the rest of the album but not lead single worthy now I’ve heard everything else.
