Congrats Bray and Dan *.* I noticed that Bray was doing really well but didn't quite clock how much my quiz rival was slaying. I think Bray will have overtaken me now but I should be in 3rd as Sam didn't enter this week. Once again I am good at predicting what people will go for but not what they would avoid  thanks for this anyway vibe, some interesting questions ~

Oh slay *.* I guess being one of the few people to not get 15+ points on Q9 paid off  I wouldn't have even thought of 'Needed Me', 'The Cave' was a very immediate thought for me as a long-running hit that missed the top 30! (Actually surprised it 'only' had 26 weeks in the top 75, I'm sure it had a ton of weeks in 76-100 as well).

I needn't have bothered looking so hard but for the question about a song that spent 3 weeks in the same position my strategy was to find an obscure example from back when the charts used to be frozen for a week over Christmas :magic:

It's rough to see that if I hadn't messed up Q9 I would have had only 25 points (and if damn Demi had spent one more week in the Top 75 it would have been a 4-way tie for the win with me and Dalek getting 30 pts as well lmao)
were there other answers for q9 besides the 3 suggested

I searched for hours trying to find a 4th answer and I couldn’t .

oh slay at me winning! congrats Bray too. :P

going to have a bit of a lead in the leaderboard when I update it then.

Poor week for me :( Thanks for hosting vibe :)

I’ll post my round of family fortunes tomorrow

6. Name a song by a solo female artist that is a cover of a male solo artist, which out peaked the original in the charts? Top 75 only

POINTS ANSWER MEMBER

11 Hallelujah (1 Alexandra Burke) (2 Jeff Buckley) LewisGT / soundseekerz / Riser / gavindeejay / TS0301 / Chezwombat / chrissmith276 / 777666jason / Dexton / Theo / Mic1812

33 Tears On My Pillow (peaked at same position 1) girl_from_oz

A couple of minor issues (neither of which affects the scoring):

The original version of Hallelujah was by Leonard Cohen, and reached #36 - still a valid answer.

Kylie's Tears On My Pillow is not a cover of the Johnny Nash song (even though both songs have the title line followed by 'pain in my heart'). It is a cover of a non-charting song by Little Anthony & The Imperials (who are a group, meaning the answer is still incorrect).

Thanks for hosting the quiz - happy to have finished third!

33 Somewhere Only We Know (is a cover of a group) Mack.

I cant believe Whitney's version only peaked at 8 !!!

I decided to play it safe for this one by guessing 'Hallelujah', but was considering 'Driving Home For Christmas' as a loophole guess - since Stacey Solomon's cover DID outpeak Chris Rea's original at the time, it was only a few years later that Chris Rea ended up with the higher peak :magic: Was curious to see if that'd be counted as correct but this round seemed very loophole-averse and I didn't want to risk it being wrong and losing leaderboard points :heehee:
