September 4, 20196 yr are you crazy? no album is abandoned after release week, sure you can get more sales if you do further promo, release further singles etc
September 4, 20196 yr That's because it was actually very successful. There's no need to keep on forever if the album will go max gold, better move on to new era. Why not? More singles means more airplay, which leads to more sales and more tour tickets sold. It's silly to work on an album and abandon it after one single when there's opportunities to do more, especially if it's a #1 album.

September 4, 20196 yr With no established hit from the album and it already only selling 2k its sales will drop to apx 10k next week - can't see it holding up too much!3.1k sold yday.. and I oop. She'll more than likely hit 28k, which is more than LFL. That's a good result. Especially as LFL had bigger initial hits. So it's gonna def do more than 25k..
September 4, 20196 yr With no established hit from the album and it already only selling 2k its sales will drop to apx 10k next week - can't see it holding up too much! That's a pretty standard second week drop. Most successful albums don't sell more than 10k in their third week.
September 4, 20196 yr That’s a really good result for Lana. I’m hoping that the excellent reviews will keep people interested in listening - word of mouth can be quite effective at times.
September 4, 20196 yr Fingers crossed that 'Doin' Time' can sneak into the top 40 as well (read elsewhere on the forum that it's at #41 today). Also hoping 'Strike A Pose' can knock 'Señorita' back out of the top 10 so we at least have one new top 10 hit rather than just swapping Ed/Khalid out for Shawn/Camila.
September 4, 20196 yr Also hoping 'Strike A Pose' can knock 'Señorita' back out of the top 10 so we at least have one new top 10 hit rather than just swapping Ed/Khalid out for Shawn/Camila. Hopefully it should do; its climbed to 8 on Spotify, which is a good sign
September 4, 20196 yr Sheryl Crow will fall low Top 20 and likely the best outcome at this point, i will be disappointed if it loses a Top 20 position. Ritual is very keen on positions between 22 and 25, it looks destined to never reach the Top 20.
September 4, 20196 yr Taylor managed to overtake then that’s a good sign, should do about 16k this week roughly
September 4, 20196 yr Hope Doin Time sneaks into the top 40 as well to prove wrong my claims the album has no hit! Strike a Pose is eventually gonna go top 10 isn't it, must be one of the biggest slow burners of the year so far.
September 5, 20196 yr he’s unlikely to do so this week, the song’s down a few places since last Friday and is declining in sales.
