How many of these 'Gold' compilations are being churned out lmao? It's the same label doing all of them as well.

Also just seen Dermot Kennedy's album collapsing further to #26, yikes! Meanwhile as further evidence that it's not just because 'he doesn't do well on streaming', Elbow's album is still top 10 in the mids this week despite having 5 new entries ahead of it...
King Arthur coming for a second UK number 1 album! *-*

Also so happy to see blackbear in the top 40. I'm so in love with hot girl bummer now.

I wonder if Radio 1 will edit that WORD (f**k you) this Friday.

I'd be surprised if they actually play any version of it

I have been doing some research into X Factor Winner's 3rd albums (for the winners who released that many). This is how they performed in their first week:

Leona Lewis' Glassheart sold 27k.

Little Mix's Get Weird sold 60k.

Joe McElderry's Classic Christmas sold 34k.

Shayne Ward's Obsession sold 22k.

I can't find information for Alexandra Burke or Matt Cardle on their Wikipedia pages, but neither album has been certified silver, so I am fairly certain they would have sold considerably less than the above four.

Who would have thought that Joe McElderry's 3rd album would have outsold Leona Lewis'? Or Shayne Ward's 3rd would outsell Alexandra's?

Alexandra - The Truth Is: 3,136 first week sales.

The album was rushed post Strictly Come Dancing. A shame as Alexandra (still) has so much potential as a recording artist.

James already has a signing at Banquet Records and he’s just added another one at HMV in Westfield (London) - Should help him get those extra sales needed.
Radio 1 have played Hot Girl Bummer a few times before and either just censored that word or replaced it with forget you!
Wait does that programme have enough songhs for an album let alone a greatest hits

Shockingly he’s had 3 chart albums previously! (2012 - Hands Up #16, 2013 - The Best Of Friends #45, 2015 - Just Party #43).

Any James Arthur songs in the top 100 please? Surprised he didn’t do better on streaming as well!
Oh sorry, had a look now. Just seen that he doesn’t have a song in the top 100, wow.

I thought other than SYWLG, he has always struggled with streaming

I thought other than SYWLG, he has always struggled with streaming

He seems to on Spotify but on Apple Music he does not bad. His Essentials Playlist on Apple Music is usually always around top 50 just behind the likes of Oasis, Ed Sheeran and Coldplay on their playlist chart and his album is top 5.

Mids update on MW - I’ll allow a mod to post.

The Foals still ahead of James though.

Didn't expect Foals to be still ahead, both must be selling slowly or something.
