The song peaked at 2 on my chart and went on to spend a mammoth 22 weeks on my chart, oddly the 2nd highest of the year. I actually do like this song and think some of HRVY’s output is quite strong, however a bit like many other popstars, can’t seem to land a hit in the streaming era. His best opportunity would’ve been had Somebody been pushed with Sigala as that did ok on streaming despite not being massively pushed. Told You So is a bit of a bop and is just an all round good pop song. His collab with NOTD is still to come... just don't mention the 'dancing'

The song peaked at 2 on my chart and spent 10 weeks in the top 10 with a total of 16 weeks on my chart before exiting… if only it was that easy for it to leave the official charts. I do like this song, however possibly a bit played to death now. I remember seeing the Peter Capaldi video and just loving it (couldn’t find it again on Youtube) at the time. To be honest I don’t return to this song much, but then I guess as its still everywhere I don’t need to. It is Lewis’ biggest hit on my chart by quite some way, I do like him and his odd, weird sense of humour and hopefully he’ll be brining out more stuff In 2020.

Gorgon City and MK team up for There for You and it managed to get to Number 2 on my chart and spend a massive 20 weeks for 2019… and its still currently charting. This song is such a bop and there are some 90’s influences, particularly towards the end of the song. It dominated my chart for much of the latter part of 2019 and still remains a go-to song. The songs remaining all managed to get to number 1 on my chart, barring 1….

Fine Line managed to get to number 1 on my chart in 2018 and DCMU saw Mabel return to Number 1 for 3 weeks. The song actually only had 15 weeks on my chart, however the majority of those weeks was in the top 10. It’s a perfect slice of pop and the song that I think really put Mabel on the map and solidified her success. It’s a song that I still return to and is just perfect pop music. All Day and Night was a callon between Jax and Martin or Europa which this was billed as. And essentially just a great dance bop, with echoes of the 90’s again thrown in for good measure. The song spent a week at the top of my chart and went on to spend 18 weeks on my chart; 9 of which were in the top 10. Oddly this hasn’t been followed up (to my knowledge), but either way it’s a great song and deserving of its high placing.
January 22, 20206 yr I was getting really tired of Someone You Loved after hearing it so often but I’ve been going back to Lewis’ album recently and it’s made me like the song again - that and Before You Go are so good right now :wub: Also yay at Don’t Call Me Up being so high - I prefer Mad Love, but both are fab! It spent a massive 13 weeks in my top 10 and is still currently charting and managed 2 weeks at the top. Whilst I’m loving Harry’s current output, I think Niall is by far my fave member of One Direction and his output since the split (or rest to do other things) has been by far the most consistent. Nice to Meet Ya is a fantastic song and I wasn’t expecting such an instant bop from Niall to kick off his 2nd album campaign. He’s set to tour with Lewis Capaldi this year and given how song 1D careers have gone, Niall’s (and Harry’s) seem to be the one’s who are going to have some form of musical longevity.

The song spent 4 weeks at the top at the end of 2018 and came in at 108th on my EOY there, however the song went to spend another 4 weeks at the top in 2019 and another 17 weeks. It dominated my chart for quite a while and had its points from last year been added to this year, it would have taken my number 1 easily. However it comes in at Number 11 and becomes Jax’s 2nd highest entry for this year. The song was instant for me and whilst I’m probably biased as a massive Years and Years fan, I found the chorus/ breakdown stuck in my head constantly. Still a go-to song and one of my faves. Jax has had some great songs over the last few years and Play is probably my fave… saying that This is Real is still to chart and within my 2019 EOY top 10…
