I think it's her best, although 'Anywhere' is a mere whisker behind it.

I rate Anywhere a very clear best single to date by Rita.

Time for a new round of Soundclash.

I've gone for Hot Right Now although it's close. I Will Never Let You Down has always been 8/10 but not quite greatness. Hot Right Now definitely sparks more joy marie kondo when I hear it.

Hot Right Now is my favourite song by her what actually went to #1.

 

It still goes OFF and is one of those songs what just puts me in a good mood.

 

 

I Will Never Let You Down is cute but I think she’s released far better stuff. I see this site sees this as being her second best track after Anywhere which is so surprising. I Will Never Let You Down to me sounds like a solid album track (or like a mid album single) but it wasn’t lead worthy (which was the intention at the time iirc).

Both are good dance tunes but I chose Hot Right Now as it is fun and energetic.
