Have Boris Johnson's ongoing very expensive divorce proceedings been covered at all in UK media? Because over the course of the last week, they were probably covered just as much as this baby in French media. I don't know if there's been some sort of superinjunction in UK media.

I haven’t seen a single word about it.

I just looked and in the last week the likes of the Mail and Sun have published articles but nothing critical of him.

Odd. The second Gala article is telling because it was written when the baby came but that's not the main story: it's just used as a pretext to talk about the divorce.

£4mil cost of divorce?? Am I reading that right? They must've gone all oit to bury that news here.

I don't even know if that's a lot for a divorce.

True, but if it was say Cheryl Cole or Diane Abbott the papers would be going nuts about it. The fact it wasn't even mentioned here speaks to the Tories' tight control of reporting.
